App function, unable to get location. Ensure vehicle is clean. Make sure running properly. Took me over 1 hour to get the rental. Due to scratches and dirty because of pictures.

Brandy HThe nearest gas station to replenish gasoline was almost 20 minutes away from this location. The parking/drop off area is just a "find a spot" type of open area. There is also no cell service to use the U-Haul app. All that being said, a very nice man gave me directions to the gas station.

JOHN HRental was not even from NJ, it was from Bassett VA. Arrived to pick up auto trailer exactly on time and there was no trailer. Attendant apologized and said nothing he can do. Called Uhaul. Fourtuately the uhaul representative found me another rental and was as helpful as she could be. The replacement rental took me a hundred miles out of my way and added four hours to my round trip. I am highly dissatisfied with Uhaul at the moment and will likely never use them again. The end result of my rental cost me extra fuel and added 4 hrs driving time. Also because of they lack of fulfillment of my original reservation I was forced to make most of my return trip at night and 100 miles into a 400 miles return , the trailer lights stopped working.

Bryan DThe app for self drop off is terrible. I use Safari on my phone and, even after following the instructions numerous times, it would not show my location. It was a bad enough experience that I may not use Uhaul next time that I need a truck.

Paul SAbsolutely trash and stole my money. First said it was 90 and then tried to charge 160 and then said I would get it back and I never got it back.
DUSTIN CThank goodness for your helpful employees, Ethan was wonderful. However, our whole situation was totally botched from start to finish. I made the reservation over a month ago to have a 20 ft truck ready to pick up at this location as it is 10 minutes from my grandfathers home. We drove 3 hrs up there Saturday morning and were informed there was no truck for us and wouldn’t be one until the following day. As we were breaking up my grandfathers house this was not an option. Ethan worked with us for 40 minutes to find something. We had to settle for a 15ft truck and we’re not able to grab everything and now will have to reschedule another day to return. The cost of tolls, gas, taking off work-all that could have been avoided if you honored your reservations. Not to mention when we got to the secondary location to pick up the 15ft truck we didn’t get the emailed password to open the lock on the truck, luckily Ethan gave us his number to call in case we ran into other issues, we called him and he helped us get the key. Finally when returning the truck, there was no way to check in online to return it, the reservation was lost on your online services, we took a video of leaving the truck in the lot locked and dropping to key to ensure we wouldn’t be held liable if anything happened to it over night. Please work to improve your online services as well as honoring your one way reservations. I can promise you that Ethan was the only bright spot on this whole experience and we will not be using uhaul in the future to come back for a second trip to my grandfathers house. What would be the point when we can’t rely on a truck being available for us. Very disappointing.
THADDEUS FNo problems with the pick up. The problems were BEFORE the pick up when I had to have the pick up location moved due to the original location not leaving a key for my truck. I had to drive 90 minutes total to pick a different truck, and didn’t get the dolly I rented, nor did I get the moving blankets. I was contacted by the rental manager, who was quite helpful, but terribly rushed, had taken care of all of the appropriate refunds. Due to their over sight, I lost a whole day of moving.

Richard GWas told service center would be open and could pay cash...neither of which were true. Had no idea how to get truck. Was told no internet device was needed to pick up truck. This was not true either. Had to call for help at time of pick up. No one ever answered. Someone who worked at TAW happened to stop by his shop while I was sitting in lot wondering what to do. He told me how to get online to get the truck otherwise I would have had to reschedule. I will likely not reserve again nor recommend to others.

Douglas WRental pick up and drop off locations were fine. And for the most part the truck was OK. BUT, the cargo area of the truck leaked, everything that was on the floor of the truck got a bit wet.
Gregory SI had no service to my phone to check the truck in. I returned the truck a day early with a half of tank of gas. The mileage going out on the truck was 42669.8. When I returned the truck in the shape it was given the mileage was 43111.3. You should of checked with RAW if there was a problem they could of cleared this up for you.

Johanna PThe only thing I thing I did not care for was having to pay mileage from the pick up location to the job site, to take the truck to get gas to replenish what was used and then to take the truck back to the site. I understand you need to pay mileage but honestly I believe that should maybe be waived or put to a cheaper rate. But other than that everything was good.

ARTHUR BI can't believe I was charged $.80 for going 2 miles over and $38.25 for a sixteenth of a tank of gas under. I will never use U haul again. Have gone a couple miles over before and 1/16 under for gas and never charged. Absolutely ridiculous.

Mary SLocation was 24 miles away from the location we made our reservation at. At the last minute we were told there were no trucks at the initial reservation site and stated this would be the closest and only 17 miles away. Not true at all and put us out of the way 24 miles plus time gas and extra expenses that we were not budgeted for. Not a good way to do business and provide good customer service. I suggest if you can't guarantee a truck on the initial reservation don't allow the reservation. Decline it stating no trucks available for that date and site. Don't falsely give the impression that the truck will be available and at the last minute say its not.
