Trailer was full of dirt from previous customer. The owner was very helpful with the hook up of the trailer to the truck.
Steve BI felt bad for the girl at the front since the online check in system went haywire and she was left trying to handle all the customers “old school”. There was nowhere to park my car and I had to finally park it a really far distance away and walk back to get my moving truck. Because of all this chaos, the girl did not put my moving materials into the truck and I discovered this after I had already left there. I had to go back to get them, which made me very late to meet my mover. This was an explosive situation since I had a small time frame to get my stuff out of the house. My day starting off like this was extremely stressful. I then brought the truck back (picked up with 1/4 tank and brought back with 1/8 tank) and the gentleman said it was OK so I wasn’t charged for this. I am very happy and appreciative that they didn’t charge me the gas charge, but just due to the lack of parking alone, I would not recommend this place or ever use them again. Some things were just circumstances, but they need to figure the parking situation out. Maybe have a parking lot that they rent from one of the nearby businesses. Not sure what the answer is but that is just a bad situation.

Ray SCalled prior to dropping off and I explained my situation and that I would be dropping off after hours and they said okay someone will be there. I got there the evening I had told the person on the phone that I would be there which was around 8:30pm-ish on Sunday. I was told over the one way intercom that I was at the wrong location multiple times and I was to return to the jeronimo location. (I was most def at the correct location) I think heard him say over the intercom saying if you didn’t rent it here you can’t return it here. So rather than deal with him and his facility we went and just dropped it off to the U-Haul off jeromino (lake forest) and we called U-Haul and had to wait 30 mins on the phone to speak to someone to let them know what the man above said and that we couldn’t return it to the location we were supposed to return it too.

cesar cI was very upset because they changed my drop off location to 20 minutes out of my way. Further north. And I was going south. Which added an extra 40 minutes to my trip. I left the tank 1/2 full and it should have only been 1/4 full. No refund for the extra full but I would have been charged if it was less

Kathleen MThis location was not at all professional they had a Doberman dog outside which was very intimidating you had to walk past this dog who was laying outside with no leash , to get inside. The place inside looked like a junk yard and a house they live in. When you walk inside the whole place smelled strong like dog pee. The dogs giant bed was inside. I felt so uncomfortable and the smell of pee was so gross I never want to got here again

DAVE RThis was a wonderful experience…the staff was very friendly and made the whole transaction quick and super simple. I rented a pick up truck and was a little nervous about driving it, but it was so so nice, very easy to drive, and easy to load. The price was very affordable as well!! I would certainly do business here again!!
Joan KWe only had the uhaul for 2 days and was charged for 3 days. Still trying to get reimbursed. When we dropped it off before noon, he was in a hurry and wouldn't give us a receipt. Unhappy with this location and we have been long time customer's of uhaul.

James HThe method of dropoff was a little unconventional. Knowing that you don't pull in, but pull up to the curb for a drop-off would have been very useful (also indicating which direction you need to pull up be great. This would avoid one having to back up on a very small street with a vehicle that you can't really see directly behind.

She is very prompt and communicative through our emails and voicemail communications. Definitely a huge difference between her and all the other truck rentals we’ve been to. Walid LRep was very friendly and attentive. It didn't felt like your regular HHaul location. You could tell it's a family run location. Very cozy and cool ambiance. Loved the Doberman. She was such a cool dog.
Robert HWhile the staff there was very polite and business like, this location maintains a free roaming, very large, Doberman pincer dog. At truck-pick-up it began barking very loudly inside the confined office area right at the counter where I was waiting. It severely frightened me. I am 80 years old and that is the type of fright that can cause a heart attack for seniors. It seems the liability might be U-Haul's for allowing this situation, franchise or not. Also it is a generally shabby looking location far from business-like, evoking a third-world image. Wonderful new U-Haul facility less than two miles away. I recommend using it.

Anthony VImprovements to the booking process is needed: although using the website was easy, on the day of pick-up, I was given an unexpected notification that the van I reserved at one location was no longer available and needed to go to a much farther location to pick up another vehicle. I had to make multiple calls to the pick up locations and scheduler to clarify what I needed, which was stressful. Thankfully, the scheduling department was very accommodating and patient, which I appreciated during the stressful time.
