I requested a truck ans got a van instead. I will never ever recommend or rent from uhaul again. I also fueled the truck more than what i recieved it with and i got no credit for it but instead got charged for miles despite that i returned the van like four hours earlier than i had requested. Poor business practice. Will let everyone know on social mwdia abour this so they do not conduct business with you.

reservation was cancelled 2 minutes before we were due to pick it up as we pulled into the parking lot of the pickup location.. I was transferred to customer service 3 times to rebook, got halfway through the call and it would hang up and they wouldn't call back. Then I see an email that my reservation is now for new rochelle, geographically 10 miles away but by road an hour and a half away. Somehow they were able to book the 15 foot truck we requested for an hour later at the original location. The pickup location was also changed without our consent either.
Kevin OlsenThe drop off was very confusing. I got a call teaming me change the drop off location from the one I chose when I made the reservation, to a different location. After the drop off, I received an invoice for $108 saying they cannot take the trailer. Super confusing and unprofessional.

Joel BragenTruck was an old piece of shit with 106,000 miles, constant rattling, bad shocks. I ordered moving blankets and a dolly but THEY WERE NOT IN THE TRUCK which RUINED our move. We were told we could go to Jericho location for these. Really? Who has time for that? Self check in and check out a pain. This was the absolute worst Uhaul experience I have ever had.

Felipe SosaMy experience was very bad and unprofessional. First, when I was at the place to pick up my 9ft van, there were no keys to it. I called and they told me my reservation was cancelled and they didn’t know why, they made a reservation for me at another location that they said was open, they were not. But was able to get a 10ft truck and I asked the specialist on the phone if I would be able to park my car there which she responded yes “it is a big parking lot. When I was ready to leave the location I got a text from U-Haul about parking my car. I called them back and they told me it would be $10 an hour to park my car there. At this point I was even more annoyed and was lucky enough to strike a deal with a business nearby where I was able to park for free. Needless to say I was very annoyed with this whole thing.

TIAN XIEThe location was fairly close (7 miles) from us. It is a small office and didn't have the usual packing equipment, pads or dolly available. Drop off was easy.
