The staff was friendly and check-in/check-out was quick
Please keep your rates the same in all areas.I went to another location located at Bissonet and Beechnut and personnel was very rude and unprofessional. There was a guy that had a name with the title of owner and one more guy dark skinned at the counter. The younger guy was very rude in the sense that didn't care I walked in and needed help. He was more worried about being on his cell phone and walking around pretending to be busy. I was quoted a price of $317 for a 5*8 trailer and they were charging me over $700 and the owner kept jumping in the conversation not trying to help at all. I was a paying customer and he made me feel like I was just lying. I called the other location to verify price and gave it to them and they still didn't believe me. People like the owner of that location gives a bad reputation to the company named U haul. I have been a customer for many years and I have never ever being treated with such disrespect and unprofessionalism as I was in that location. Be careful with the people you land and watch for the prices because they do vary and by alot. I still rented the trailer across town to save me the money that they were overcharging.
Everything ran smoothly. Thank you for letting me return the vehicle a little after closing time and not charging me an extra day.
everything was great and everyone was super helpful.
Don't rent out the trailer I rented. It fish-tailed during the whole time I drove it to my destination. I had to drop my speed to below 50 mph on more than a dozen times.
The trailer looked clean and in good shape, but had a problem for it to fish-tail like that.
After 30 hours of little to no sleep, they got me in and out quickly and back on the road so I could get my rest. They were great.
Allow speeds above 55 mph.
The truck was very old. 200+ thousand miles. The driver side door didn't shut properly.
Only to be sure to check lights before renting:) other than that the person that attended me was wonderful!
Only one person was working on Sunday, yet there were a lot of people in line. It took over an hour to get the trailer. Unacceptable. This is not the norm for UHaul, service is usually better and faster than that.
Very nice young lady and young man working at this location. Helped me with directions since Houston roads and freeways are always under construction. A very pleasant and easy return of my trailer. Thank you!
You no longer have 10' trucks regularly at this location, but when I reserve online it is still an option. Then when I get to the location my reservation is only for a cargo van. Luckily this time there was a 10' truck, but I had to drop off at a different location, meaning my car was stuck until I could get a ride.
The young lady who checked me in was very knowledgeable and pleasant. I was very impressed with her. Your system is quick and efficient.
Quick, easy, convenient and they even tried to call me when I was running late for my pickup.

You did not give me what I requested and reserved online.
If you are not going to provide a truck at the location that i called you must state that before i make the reservation, believing i am getting a truck from the Uhaul 200 yards from my shop!
overall good experience. However, it would be nice to have access to an elevator. And the fact that you do not have much in the way of condition storage is a draw back.
We were redirected from initial pickup location to a secondary, third-party location because of inventory issues. We got there at our reservation time (noon) only to find the business closed for lunch until 1. Movers were at our house waiting and I was now going to have to wait an hour just to get the truck. UHaul Cust Svc did find me another truck bit had to make a 30 min drive across Houston to get it. Staff there was very courteous.

The truck was old and not well maintained, it was overpriced at $96.00 for 3 hours and 36 miles. I will NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!
The clerk was nice and helpful. She checked us in quickly and answered our additional questions. Very polite.
They send me to other location to pick the truck up and when i arrived to the other location they send me back to the original locations on 34th street.
when i made the reservation they gave me a price and yesterday i saw an email wiyh a charge of $128.10 for just 6 hours,a docens of pads and a dolly of furniture,y returned back on time and nobody was there to check out the truck,also they not look professional since the bigining.
i dont know what happend thie time,becouse i was very happy with the store in hwy 6 where i rented a truck on sunday and everything was really good.

Poorly designed. My 10x10 in tampa has a wide hallway and a garage-style door. This 10x10 has a 36 inch door that`s inside a narrow hallway. Too tight.
Rented trailer to move household items to Lafayette, LA. Trailer would bounce and occasionally porpose with any unevenness in the road. Ride was so bad I turned the rental into a one-way. Originally quoted at $64 but was instead charged $144. You have lost a customer for life.
Customer service was not welcoming . No rear lights, no rear brake lights, light turn blinking not operable. Overall experience was poor.
Drop off location did not have facilities to accommodate a 26' truck for dropoff. It was a car dealership and was a waste of gasoline to drive to this site and then find another location.

Quick easy will rent again
I went to that location to rent a truck, so I can use a 1/4 mile away. I reserved the truck for Sunday, which is today. After waiting for 20 minutes, due to customers there, I was told they did not have the truck there. I had to go pick it up at Gessner & 290 area. I was dropped off at this location, and had to call for them to come get me to take me back. Then I have to pay more per miles which I would not have had to pay if the truck was there where I reserved it. They did not have the courtesy of contacting me to let me know this information. I could have used another means that was closer and more convenient. Also, The pick up truck I rented, did not have the tailgate secured and when my helper opened it, it fell off and hit my knee. Previous renter or Uhaul must have disconnected the straps that are removable. I am ok, just bumped a bit, but not in pain anymore. All is good on my knee. Whoever made the changes, needs to get a lesson on customer service. The actual employees were pleasant.
This was a great experience from start in Burnsville MN to arrival in Houston, TX. The staff at both locations were tops. I highly recommend the U Box.
Overall this was a very good experience, I guess if there is only one draw back is the time it takes to get the box but I have to believe that is due to volume between the cities. All in all this was a great experience and highly recommend it.
When I, pick the truck up the reading of gas and mileage was wrong it had to be corrected and upon the return of the truck no one was available inside the store for about 10 min other customers said they had been waiting longer than that on someone to help them everybody was walking around the outside of the store that was open trying to locate someone. I,was over charge for the truck they had to redo the paper work I, was not please at all.
I had to wait and still accepted a truck that was not clean. I did this to help out because the staff was tasked to the limit. I dropped the truck off after hours, which was 5:00pm CDT for Sunday. I went nine miles though I estimated 15. The gas was at a half tank in stead of 3/8 point as the indicator had reflected when I signed out. I made sure the gas was at the half tank when I dropped it off between 7:15pm and 7:30pm Sunday evening. U-haul charged me a $7. and change gas surcharge, and refused to refunded, although I have made two (2) calls to them about this over charge. This is at 4825 W. 34th Street, Houston, TX 77091. I waited to see would U-haul follow through as the person on the phone thought that they would. No one has returned my call or refunded the over charge.
The only problem I had was that I had to wait a long time to get my vehicle and I had a reservation. My truck was there but I had to while the staff was on the phone trying to get vehicles for others who truck had not been returned yet. Once she got to me it did not take long. It would have been nice if someone could have taken care of the people that would not have taken long to service.
I was very happy with the service I received from this location. I will use again if needed. Thank you so very much UHAUL. You have a bless day.

Everything went smoothly. The reservation was in the system, it only took a few minutes to process and get the keys, online experience was good, Rebecca was friendly and helpful. Overall, I would recommend using this location.

The computer system was down and it slowed down service a bit. Wasn't a big issue for me, but it would have made the experience a little better. Definitely will come back though!
I had an issue with the roll up door of the trailer after arriving at my destination. I called the help line number and got the run around. I called the drop off location and they said to bring the trailer in early Monday morning for they did not have anyone there to help.
I arrived early Monday morning and the receiving tech was not very friendly. I informed him of the problem and he showed little concern. He did try to force open the door, but only for about 5 minutes and little effort.
I went into the store and spoke with the Manager Rebecca and told her of my problem. She immediately went with me to the trailer, she tried to open it with not luck. She made a call to someone else and she tried to open the door again. Rebecca finally got the door open after about 45 minutes and lots of effort.
I will give Rebecca a BIG 11 for her efforts and a Big 1 for the effort and personality of the receiving tech.
Rebecca did a SUPER JOB helping me out. She needs to be acknowledged by Corporate for her efforts.

you really, as a company, should list the sizes correctly. your 4X7, is really a bit 3ft 1 1/2" wide, i didnot bother to measure the length. and the 5 X 8 is more like 4 ft and few inches....

It took much too long to actually pick up the unit. It also didn`t fit everything we needed it to.
I had problems from the beginning with selling me a unit that was already in use, twice. Then I never received the emails for reminders after a while.
200 characters isn`t enough space to rate my experience. I had several issues with my truck rental/reservation as well as my storage reservation that were never rectified.
The box was 3 days late - your $50 a day refund is a joke! Plus I was overcharged by $63.00. Will never use again and will be in touch regarding refund of over payment.

The staffs are very patience and took their time with me to do paperwork and moved the trailers to make room for me to drive through and let the staff removed the trailer hitch off for me.
jesus and fischer were awesome to my wife and i jesus was very nice he even helped unload some of our items and helped carry them to the 2nd floor for us. we greatly appreciated it!

They recently upgraded to climate control without any prior notice until after the fact, when I received a notice that the rent would increase. This was unprofessional.

The U-Haul facility located off of Mangum and W. 34th is always in spotless and excellent looking conditions, and Lorraine is very knowedgeable!

I had rat/roach issues several times. The electricity went out making it impossible to see. The staff was rude and hung up on me when they called to verify the unit was closed.
I will never rent here again, most unprofessional staff I`ve ever done business with.
Would definitely store here if needed in the future.
Friendly customer service good prices
The wait was not long, I was inout in a timely manner on the day of pick up. The office staff was very helpfulexplained all my questions asked at the time of drop off also.
1 box missing latch, movers would not wait, had to hire other movers, 2nd movers took 2 days. Was not a good experience.
Did not have a good experience with u-pods, not the location but with moving helpers and false info on your web site regarding how many pods required for a three bedroom.

There is always a space for improvement. It will be highly appreciated if you keep improving and set very high standards for customer care and services.
I would have liked to keep it longer, but it was too expensive. I wish you had some smaller units on the ground floor.

Coming from a small, agronomy town, I was apalled. I stood in line longer than unloading my things. Replace missing bulbs in the storage! You have forgotten respect and that customer are the profit.

Mgr Jonas Rodriguez was unprofessional and rude. He lacks of customer service skills. He is an insult to customer service professionals in any type of business. I will never again recommend U-Haul.
The only problem I had with this place was that the ceiling tile falls all over the boxes. You`ll find reasonable prices here on W.34th Street. This is an old and run down facility but its cheap.
Service was okay, but had to wait for someone to help me, there was no one in the store. Also code didn`t work on a couple of occasions.
I am blessed to have found this place! Employees could not have more helpful to me! They were GREAT! Thank-you!

Great personel, too hard to get around the storage buildings, traffic jams, and no turn arounds.
Jonas was the most friendly, helpful person at a storage area I have ever dealt with. My unit was clean and ready to receive my contents.
there was always water at the bottom of the stairway...safety hazard. Also the unit was damp. Thankfully most of my belongings were in plastic bags because the bags smelled of mold.

I was pleased with my experience at this location. It was close to my home at the time and served well for me as an extra closet.
the guy was helpful but it was time to leave so i had to get an outside storage to coutuie to have the movers to unload

they failed to notify me of a leak in the building. I had water damage to my property. Now they claim i didnt close my account.
the gate was open when I arrived to put my things in storage and it remained open alll afternoon, never closed behind me or any other customer.
checking out balance $54.95 although i owed them nothing as moved out on time and not willing to give me paperwork that said zero balance. Still trying to handle with Lisa Manager at 34th Street
Jason,was a complete idiot. The door was in poor repair.I had to put in back into the track.Jason kicked a hole in the wall to demonstrate that there were no bugs.I had a horrible experience.
when i rented my first storage room they did not give me 1st month free and when i ented my 2nd storage room they gave me 1st month free you still owe me for the 1st month free on the first storge

Emergency long business trip to China. Left storage clean empty unlocked. Repeated emails to inform them couldn`t call were ignored but got many harassing emails from same address.

The door to my unit is broken and needs to be fixesd.
Only complaint is the entrance gate. Code is too hard to enter into storage areas and has to have it opened by staff on 2 occasions.
The residue from the ceiling in the storage room was all over my things. There is no elevator, and no A/C in storage areas.

I was disappointed that there wasn`t any prior information on the website describing the lack of elevator for the self-storage buildings.

I have been very please with my entire experience with U-Haul. I plan on being a customer for a long time. The customer service is the best not was but still IS excellent.
staff is not expart enough to handle the computer. took long time to fix everything. charged me $179.70 over. and then they said they returened this money to my account.
