When I arrived the truck that I had reserved 2+ weeks in advance was not ready and then the battery was dead, thankfully another customer was returning the same size truck that I needed so after being there for almost a hour I was able to start my move. When I returned the truck I felt as if I was being robbed. The young man that was inspecting the truck upon my arrival had zero customer service skills and then he expected me to assist him with the vehicle inspection asking me to apply the brake, place the vehicle in reverse and go through all of the lighting systems. The young man then advised me that I owed an additional charge. I did not understand how there could possibly be any additional charges since I only had the truck for one day and the amounts chargeable were already on the signed contract. I then proceeded inside to get clarification on how I could owe more than the original contract stated and I was told that this was how it "worked" and also that I had used the truck for two days. The contract states that the truck was due back on the next day by 6:30pm and it was currently only 12:30pm so I don't really understand how I was charged any additional money. I felt as if I was being hustled or even robbed at that time the manager came in and said it is what it is and told the cashier to charge me anyway.
They placed several holds on my debit card $100,$33.00,and $64 for almost $200 that should take 3-5 days before its returned to me.....that's ridiculous charge me for the rental and that's it $200 worth of holds is ridiculous and unacceptable. Once I get my money back I will never use or recommend u haul again

Nothing that I can see. My agent was particularly friendly, cheerful and helpful. The manager also seemed to take an interest in my satisfaction by asking if there was anything else HE could help me with. Outstanding service all around.

I reserved my uhaul on line for a 26ft truck a week in advance. When I got to the location I was advise oops sorry we don't have a 26ft truck for you but you can take a 17ft truck! Totally screwed up my move with helpers. Made my move almost impossible. Terrible experience with this location.
The general manager was very nice and helpful. I had to ask for him after having a very bad experience, with on of the customer service reps, she was extremely rude, and very unprofessional.

The lady who helped me was very helpful. I was originally supposed to get my rental from the Wilton Manors location, but they didn't have the equipment I ordered. They also couldn't get into my reservation, because their internet connection was down. The WM representative was rude, and I would never recommend the WM location due to her inability to properly work with a customer. In addition to the Broward Boulevard woman being helpful, the gentleman who helped me connect the tow dolly was also friendly and very helpful.
The outside of the location does not look inviting, but the actual store/people/service makes you come back. I was in and out of that location with the truck I reserved, within less than fifteen minutes. The checking process, was even quicker. Betwee the picking up of the truck and the drop off, I spent less than half hour at this location. Mind you this was on the 29th of the month, when everyone that's moving is there as well.
Customer service is top notch at this location. The staff is very professional and friendly. Keep up the great work.
I have rented there twice and it has been quick and the people there are all very accommodating as well as being very friendly. They should all be commended.
I had to drive through a toll. The best advice I got - not the fault of the counter rep, she was doing what she was told to do - was to take the firmly affixed Sunpass off my car and put it in the truck, which would include updating my account online to reflect the vehicle change? That is highly unreasonable. I had enough foresight to investigate, but now I am left wondering if I'm going to be hit with some overblown fee. You're renting vehicles. How don't you have an easily identifiable toll answer, other than possibly the most inconvenient solution to this situation. Otherwise, everything was great.
Storage areas full of roaches and other insects the roaches were so bad they insfected my apartment and I to spend hundreds of dollars disinfecting my living areas.
It is difficult for people to access their belongings after work if you not work close to the facility or if you do not get off work at 5pm. Staying open until 9 or 10pm would help.
If U-Haul is going to check every single light and turn signal, etc when a truck is returned, then every one of these items should be check with the customer when the truck is rented out.
The cashier failed to give me accurate information. She had my return time 7:20am on Sunday. This location opened at 9:00. I wanted to pay cash for the rental the second cashier failed to ask and did not give me the opportunity to ask before she cashed me out. Lastly, the manager Mr. Brown made corrections without speaking to me first. I left my information for him to Contact me, he did nt. I guess that's where his staff gets their lack of professionalism and customer service e skills. After 2 years of using g this location, I don't think I'll be using uhaul ever again. As the manager stated, "you will send him this complaint to handle."

Friendliest staff and great service I have had in a while
I am a regular customer at this location. We use your trucks for conventions and trade shows in Orlando & Miami. Mike Brown & his employees are a great group & I have always had excellent service. However this time I had some issues with the truck. Bald tires & could not control vehicle in the rain which cost me a days travel. Also Breaks were very suspect and the truck overall was in very poor condition. There was also no washer fluid in the reservoir. I would urge you to take that truck off the road before someone gets seriously injured.
The cargo van had such a overpowering odor. I believe it was the black mat that was on the inside. Yeah they spray something in there, the smell went away, but came back right away, the spray only camouflage the odor
The only problem I had was when I went to the restroom it wasn`t clean, and when I reported it I was told that they`d experienced this problem before.
Stop over charging for gas,I left with 1.4 gallon of gas went ten miles charge forty dollars for gas redicales.

I booked my rental at another location which I could not find so I ended up here. The Owner served me at the counter and he was not very friendly.
The guys who hooked up the trailer and removed it were great to deal with.
This is the only location that I will ever rent from, the people are knowledgeable and pleasant.

A whole lot! Frustrated with long wait times for one and the list continues. Not even so much the store but the Corporation! I had an EMS and i spent 2 hours on the phone trying to communicate with uhaul corp and then another 3hours to wait for towe truck. Overly frustrated and dissatisfied!

Have the truck clean as soon as they are returned. Cigarette ashes and smell all over the truck also one million roaches living in the truck that was rented and it was known to the office when I complained they were aware. That was so gross! If I were the scaredy man I would have crashed when they started coming up from the seats, awful sight.
Rented a trailer, management was onpoint and the employees were great. Everything went smooth.

This location on W. Browsed Blvd. was good but the location on State Rd. 84 in Ft. Lauderdale was the problem because they did not have my truck available after it was reserved for 5 days in advance. They are the ones that sent me to the W. Broward location. I lost two hours of work time, spent more on mileage, and my customer was post off at me because we had a reservation at the ramp at her new Condo that we did not make on time. It was a mess. I am very disappointed and probably lost a good customer with much repeat business opportunities for the future.
The truck was absolutely filthy. We became congested from the disgusting cigarette smoke. I am so disappointed by this experience. I will continue to leave negative reviews online and not use the services again unless something is done to correct this matter.

I had no problems with the location . my issue's was with the customer service number . people was very rude and before I even got to this location I was sent to another location that didn't even have trucks to give so I'm complaints with cs and the location I was sent to with out trucks to give , and I called before hand and they truck when I called but not when I got there . please call 813-481-8720
Get more employees to assist and accommodate Customers with Vehicle return and processing. Along w/ Customer service skills. Employees really don't know how to greet or service customers.

Was not able to use the cargo van rented. Only had it for 30 minutes but costed $41 (19.99 for van and $for insurance) not sure at what rate gas is charged though. Had to take a chance with the van as there was no other vehicle types available. The van was very clean and service was fast.

I called this location the day before I dropped off the trailer to get the price for an extra day. I was transferred to a U-haul call center where the woman I spoke with said it would cost me $20 plus and extra $7 for the insurance so $27 total. I arrived at the location the follwing day per my call & was told by the gentleman checking me in outside that I owed $57. I went inside where a young woman charged me even more..$63! I explained how I called the previous day & was quoted $27 & all I was told was that the "call center employees are idiots" and "there was nothing they could do" VERY bad experience I would never recommend or use again, instead I will let others know to never keep the trailer an extra day and expect the price to be as told!

Gave me a broken truck that needs a new power steering rack and leaked power steering fluid all over my driveway.
THERE SHOULD BE AN AFTER HOUR DROP OFF SINCE BEING THERE WHEN THEY OPEN WITH ONLY ONE PERSON TO CHECK IN VEHICLES IS A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME ON THE CONSUMER TRYING TO GET TO WORK. CLEARLY LACKS ORGANIZATION.
I have ordered a trailer from this location the same time every year for about tje pasr 3 years. I have always rented it for the entire weekend. This has been the first time i ever experienced this mix up and unprofessionalism with uhal. Apparently it was only rented for 24hrs in the system. Instead of calling me to inform me of this and have it corrected a message was sent stating the trailer will be reported stolen. When I called, got a lady named Maggie who was very rude. Made it seem like I had not planned to return the trailer after i said it should be for the weekend. She then said (in a harsh tone) I must turm it in on Monday morning by 7am because other families need it. I work in customer service and provide it greatly, so I expect to get that in return from a company i have been doing business with for a very long time. I was very disappointed in the service I received. Im not sure that I would rent from you guys again. Sorry

The truck leaked water and my furniture
The person in the register is not friendly she's she needs to check her attitude and she needs to be more friendly and I would never recommend to anybody in this location and do you need to fix their the people in the front desk

The truck was in great shape and ready for pick-up. We had requested a dolly that was not available at pick-up time and we were substituted an appliance dolly which really did not meet our needs.
The staff was very friendly and the units are super clean.

I've had two experiences at this location. The first was very good the more recent one was very poor. I walked into the store, up to the desk and no one was at the desk. Three men were in an adjacent office and three or more other employees were scattered around the store. No one greeted me in any way or acknowledged my presence. I asked three people to help me and not one of them said yes or one moment. Nothing. Do they speak English? I'm not so sure, I was met with blank stares. The manager, Mike appeared and a fellow customer asked home to help me. Mike told a girl to help me and as she got to the register she chose to take a phone call instead of helping me. I turned to Mike and asked why she would take a call over helping a customer who has bothered to come into the store? He barked at me yelling, She's doing her job!! What a sad excuse for management and customer service.
Finally I was checked in and when I went to get the equipment, I was put in a difficult situation trying to get the trailer safely out of its spot. I hope you'll impress upon all of your stores the importance of making your customers needs a priority. It's truly unacceptable
Before renting the truck; check for maintenance requirements because my friend and I could have lost our lives in that truck as the Roadside assistance stated how bad the tires were on the truck. There needs to be a proper PreTrip procedure before these trucks leave your location.
i was told by mngmt that if i returned the uhaul before closing i would not be charged for an extra day i made it right at closing where i was told to hurryup and park the fucking truck and check out in the morning i left the truck and called customer service asap i made a complaint and confirmed that there will be no late fee. the next morning i was rudely told by mngmt mike that the truck was illegally parked and will be towed upon arrival i was charged for an extra day by him and the rude man that cursed at me the night before. i believe this was because i made a complaint to customer service. ive been a customer for over 20yrs and have never had or experience this level of insult and even criminal behavior before. i would like to be compensated for the fraudulent charge and file a new complaint against these two unproffesional men. sasha grindley 9545524137

When I called to check on my delivery (I had two) no one even had a clue as to what was going on. I had arranged for the boxes to be delivered to an address & instead they were delivered to a warehouse and I was charge extra to have them delivered to the ship. After all is said and done, I'd have been better off having them shipped from Illinois to Grand Bahama with delivery inside my home. The UBox deal was no deal at all

Be more attentive to customer returning equipment, I waited at least 10 minutes for a rep to show up.
There is a u haul located not even 5 minutes from my house and I found it to be very disappointing and upsetting that I had to drive almost 30 minutes out of the way to a different location to rent a truck in a terrible neighborhood. The staff at this location were not the friendliest either. Not to mention I had to pay per mile which tacked on an additional $30 onto my bill when i could have paid almost $20 less. Next time I will think twice before using this company and explore all options first.
Customer service was fantastic. She went able and beyond to make sure I was happy. However, they were out of furniture pads and I ordered 24 of them. Obviously this was an issue. Nothing she could have done. She attempted to find a resolution and get more in, but she was unable to do so.
As always the employees are very friendly. The truck that I was given for my rental was very experienced . By that I mean well used . Thankfully I had no problems.
Pick up location was changed without our acknowledment. Spoke with manager who was rude and unhelpful. But owner of Broward franchise was very heloful.
Confusion about drop off rates and options
No trucks were available in Wilton Manors and this location was recommended. The agent I spoke with, who referred the alternate location, was extremely professional! I was very impressed.
1. Smells like cigarette smoking.
2. Check-in man wanted me to Stand in the rain while he did his job. I wanted to wait inside the store.
I rented a 6x12 trailer one way from Charlotte to Ft. lauderdale in July for a little over $200. In October I rented one again to return to Charlotte for double that! 495 including the insurance. That's just ridiculous! The same trip in reverse should NOT be double.
Maybe employ the men hanging around the building as employees so they won't sneak around asking if anyone needs any help moving.

My pick-up location was for another location, I was sent here by them. That cost me because I was brought there by someone and then had to be taken to this site. My booking had the other location as the pick-up.
Using a U-Box for my move from FL to NH made things so much easier on me. I filled the box at the location instead of having it delivered to me, which saved a bit of money. The cost of the box was more than I wanted to pay. The FL location was amazing and every person I dealt with there went above and beyond.
Unfortunately, my one major complaint was that my box was scheduled to arrive on a Saturday. I received an email the week prior stating that a uhaul representative would contact me as soon as my box arrived and with further instructions as to when I could start unloading it. Well I never received a call. I called Saturday evening as I didn't want to call first thing and be a pain. The local NH location didn't answer their phones so it transferred me to the regional uhaul that was in another state. They were really unable to provide me with any information except that it had in fact arrived and I could access it the following day. The next day I went to the NH location and asked why no one called me to notify me as the email had stated. The representative stated my box actually arrived on Thursday and someone should've called me. Therefore I lost out on several days of unpacking my rental because no one thought to call me. I was disappointed only because I was told via email that I'd get a call upon arrival. I felt like I was chasing them to find out what was going on instead. Other than that, i had a great experience.

The shift manager was offensive and rude
I received a very great service from the staff. They were attentive and had great communication amongst each other, which helped with the speed of the process.

I believe the facility is well-run and the staff is knowledgeable. The truck rental was a smooth process. The storage rental process and access to the storage facilities could be improved.
My only problem was the storage unit was infested with roaches and my stuff was infested as well. They placed some type of box to help with it and sprayed but it did not help.
free storage with one way moving provided by U-haul is not climate controlled, after 1 month will NOT be the price I was quoted on the phone was qoted 89 and will end up paying 200+.

it is a little difficult to get in touch with the staff. Once I was able to talk to the staff, I was able to get excellent service.

Overall went well except 2 things, 1st the inconvenience of getting a key for entry/exit into the storage unit. Second, numerous roaches running/crawling around just outside my rental unit.

I was forced into purchasing a special round lock, not sure why any lock wouldn`t do. Also it is a bit annoying having to go to the office and to pick up and drop off key before and after my visit.

Greatest staff of any Uhaul I`ve visited
This rating is really for the staff at the U-Haul facility in Fort Laurderdale only. Our UBox experience was terrible and the UHaul management is the worst in customer service.

The delivery team Mechanicsburg for the empty boxes was very helpful. The Broward Blvd team was a bit confusing with arranging the pick up of the boxes, but ultimately resolved it and did a good job.

U-haul storage does not provide a prorated refund for unused time.

I really.enjoyed the past 2 years 5 months having my valuables stored with U-Haul I felt safe and the customer service I received was the BEST everyone was polite and friendly.
The young lady that assisted me was very helpful, explained everything I needed to know. She was great!

No 24 hour access is the only reason why I will not recommend this location. It is also an inconvenience to have to check in with the front desk to leave an ID, and pick up a key to access my unit.

The facility is in a high traffic area. A lot of cars coming and going. It looked secure. Not the newest storage facility I`ve seen but it is clean. Employees were very helpful and nice.
They didn`t have the truck I reserved re. I had to call 4 different u hual stores to find a truck. Never again using u haul.
Very helpful but would have appreciated having info about renting prior to move in day, like locks needed for unit, kind of a rip off! Public storage is better in this area.
Your customer service is terrible. It takes forever to get a hold of someone to scheduled anything. Everyone just keeps passing you around to other people who also can`t help you.
I have had many unhappy experience with the u haul trailers and storage before and nothing has been done about it.

The staff at this location is wonderful to work with. They are friendly and accomodating. The only thing to mention is that unit 2545 has a roof leak. luckily it did not damage any of my items.

Staff very friendly....appreciate that. Only downside to whole experience is that I didn`t need a 10`x20` - everything fit in 10`x10`, but I had to pay for the larger.
The unit ceiling was leaking water. My climate control belongings would have been ruined if I had not noticed and requested another unit. There were roaches in the halls and in the unit.
Completely infested with cockroaches. I threw out boxes and valuables and hired an exterminator to treat my home. I`m filing a claim with your insurance company.

The employees were always helpful and friendly. I was paying $25 more than people that rented after me for the same size unit.
My reservatiion for a 8 by 14 room could not be redeemed as the facility did not have that space available. Luckily, the Broward service reps were great and found me something comparable.

My storage room wus filled with bugs and rat to which I was told that they were not responsible as other storage unit holder may have the insect and rodents and they migrate to my unit.

Love the free month of rent. Rates after the free month seem a little high. I had to ask for the u-haul security lock on two different days to finally get one.
