Angel S.My rental was due back at this location on 3/16 before 8 pm which was highlighted in my contract and was posted on the door as the closing time. I arrived at the location at 7:45 pm and the doors were locked. I knocked on the door several times to get the employee's attention along with other customers who were waiting to return their rental. The employee never looked up to acknowledge us. She just kept doing what she was doing. I then called the customer service line to report that I did arrive with the rental before 8 pm and that the location was closed before 8 pm. I told the customer service representative that I should not get charged any extra late fees because of an employee who wanted to close before 8 pm. The employee then walks out of the building at 8 pm and still does not acknowledge or say anything to us. She proceeded to a uhaul pick up truck and drove away. This shows lack of customer service I will never rent or recomendable this location again.

George M.Fees were not explained to us at all and the truck had trash in it from previous user. The address that the mobile app takes you to is for Polo at the Parks Mall, so it added extra time onto my trip to click it directly from you, who should have the most accurate address for your business. The app won't let you check in or check out yourself as a result and the scanning option would not go through if scanning the return QR code.
Van P.Customer service is not very good. I had a reservation, but it was cancelled because I was late by 15 mins? Reservation does not have time requirement for picking up. Then I was told to rent a more expensive trailer... because there no more equivalent trailer. However, when I pull to the back to hitch the rental trailer. I saw there was a bunch of them back there.

Timothy P.I have run into several problems while renting a storage unit here. I will list them chronologically. When I moved in, I was assigned and unit. When I went to access the unit for the first time, there was a red store lock on it already. I went back down and requested assistance, when we returned up to my unit, there were already a bunch of furniture in it. I was told that I was going to use another unit nearby. My friends and I moved all of the stuff into it, then was told never mind, I would be using the original storage unit. We then had to move everything out of the unit we had just filled, and into the original unit after the staff emptied it out and moped the floor. Sometime around July/August of '23, the elevator was broken. As of move out date over 6 months later, it is still broken. Seeing as my storage unit is on the 3rd floor and I had heavy appliances in it like a washer, you can imagine how frustrating that is. I doubt I will ever rent anything from this particular U-haul again due to poor experiences with the truck rental and U-box rental as well. This is unacceptable. Please fix your facility.

BOBBY Y.This location did not have enough employees to handle the front desk and provide service to the vehicles. There was only one person for each role. The individual that serviced the vehicles was overwhelmed with the number of people he had to service. The truck that I received was not parked where I could access it without waiting 10 minutes for the one outside servicer to move another vehicle. The vehicle had a tire sensor on for the right rear wheel which we were told was malfunctioning and the tire was ok. However, all of the other tires where woefully under pressure, e.g. 40 when 80 psi was required. We had to wait almost an half hour before we could get air in the tires. We returned the truck as close to 6:00 p.m. as possible. However, this delay in leaving the facility impacted my ability to return the truck prior to 6:00 p.m. If there was a late return charge assess I am requesting that it be waived at the fee reimbursed to me.

I arrived about 15-20 minutes after the time chosen for pick up and was told they gave the truck to someone else becuase I didn't show up. I think that is ridiculous and was a pooor business decision. I can understand if it had been much longer and I was assumed to be a no show. However, that was not the case. Could you not call and ask if the customer is still coming? I had no choice but to take what was available, which was a larger more expensive truck. If there had been NO trucks available, I would have been even more upset! The young lady that checked me out was very nice but noticably uncomfortable and indicated that this has been happening a lot. I'm sure she has been yelled at in response to the decisions the manager is making. *reminds me of the Seinfeld show about rental cars.

However, after the first, smaller, truck was unloaded the staff was able to locate an outside large enough space for all my belongings and my movers were willing to complete the moving of the first load the following week so everything is in one large unit. So for everything; I reserved a large unit. It was given away. I then had to reserve 2 smaller units, but finally was able to get a large unit a day later and was able to combine all belongings. The whole thing was a real challenge but the staff was very kind and helpful.

I’ve complained a long time ago about the pest control, but no one did anything about it. I have pictures and video from my unit after I moved out, and it’s disgusting. The only contents I had in there were papers, furniture, mattress/box springs that were in bags, and clothes. The ironic thing was that this facility kept raising the cost because of “improvements”, but I never saw any improvements to this facility. I will never use this facility again, will not ever recommend anyone to use this facility, and will advise people against using this facility.

District Regional manager Sean was contacted regarding an unnecessary call for police assistance when all we asked for was to have our lock cut off due to lost key. My son was tld they dnt have tools. I inquired a few minutes later and was told by another worker for a $50 fee lock can b cut off. I asked Anbey y did Derek not offer this svc. She said u didn't ask. What company wldnt want to sell a $50 svc. Did u want me to leave items and u sell and auction. Abbey and Derek were very irrate and confrontational. Derek walked up to my son and asked if he had a problem and the co versatile escalated and Detek called the police and police came out and confirmed they had more important service calls to attend. Derek & Abbey (Caucasian) and Shirley Cooper (black woman) needs customer service training by the young black man that actually cut the lock off. He stated immediately we can cut off lock for a fee. That shld hv been Derek &Abbey (Caucasian couple) initial response. Maybe perhaps they carried their hime life situation to work w them on that day and took out on customers. I tried to buy a lock from Abbey after the nice young black man cut off lock but Abbey was still so mad miserable unhappy Mean and rude I left unit unlocked overnight to purchase elsewhere. The location is so perfect its too bad the staff does not match lupita Padilla checked me on 01. 03.2023 and she was sweet as pie.
CHERYLE B. | Overall ExperienceSeveral times I came to access my unit during hours allowed to access the units (which is different than the store hours). On these occasions, the manager locked the doors to the storage access points when she left and closed the store. The hours for access specifically state hours for the units is 6:00AM-10:00PM. The store closed at 5:00pm on Sunday but the access to the units should have remained open. I contacted customer service on these occasions and one time, management was not responding and the next time the manager was contacted and said she would have to try and get someone to come back out to unlock the doors. Several other customers were there and can attest to the same issue on both occasions. I will not be utilizing that location again. And will not be recommending it to anyone.

I choose this location because it is close to my home and I have rented from here before. First, this is what I have an issue with: the gate to the Rv storage not working to get in. Second, not being able to get out of the Rv storage facility. Third, not having a gate controller or a remote gate controller to get me out of the Rv storage facility in the evening. I know the staff up there works hard, but, you need to get the gate to the RV storage working and or you need to have a detector on the inside of the gate so that once somebody pulls up it will open for them to let us out

The website made me rsvp a truck at a pick up location with a card prior to move date. I was ok with that. Then when I go to pick up the truck - Uhual did not accept my card at the desk, they did not have the truck or equipment I rsvp prior to, they changed my pick up location the day of my pick up in a location that was over 20 miles, the next option was over 100 miles.. Anything that could go wrong did in my experience. Thank God I had friends who helped me use the exact card Uhaul only accepts, my change in location was only 30 miles away from my original pickup location and I went in early because Uhaul almost canceled my reservation because of their inconveniences. The truck pick up and drop off locations are not always in the best of places and often times looks very sketch after dark to leave keys and trust it'll be safe until the morning. The storage facility was good but the online process versus in-store experience does not match nor does it meets expectations. I found myself being hard-balled to do business because of the last minute changes not made by me. I feel if you are taking my payment for a rsvp from one card, you should take that payment inside the store from that same card. If I rsvp a truck and equipment pickup at location A, I expect to only go to location A and not location F. I expect if Uhaul does not have what I need at location A then refer me to location F from the beginning. Not changing it 1 hour before my pickup time then try to cancel my rsvp because Im tardy because of you're inconvenieces. This is my story from my Uhaul experience.

I wish I had written everyone's name down because they made me feel refreshed and at ease for this big move. I would like to thank the staff that worked on the 29th and 29 of December because they set the tone for my move to Texas. A young man from California assistance me on the 28th and it as smooth sailing from that point. The staff was professional, even after the unfortunate incident of the Grand Prairie police department. The gentleman went through an horrible mistaken identity after a truck was reported stolen as he was checking the truck in the police pulled weapons on him as if he stole the truck. The police did apologize but their behavior showed a la k of basic common sense. After the experience the gentleman was still professional and didn't speak about what happened but assured us that the police were doing their job, that statement alone was the perfect statement from an employee. The move out was easy and convenient. Thank you again to the staff in December and the staff on the 23rd of January.

They stated they thought the items were left behind, meanwhile we saw one lady who was not in uhaul uniform opening clients boxes and bags, and then the supervisor allowed her to pack in her car. They start off by charging my card over $500 withhout calling or letting me know after only having the truck for three days. They gave me a truck with a gas leak. I wouldn’t take that truck they gave me a truck with roaches. They did not refund the deposit for the first truck or the second truck added a deposit for the third truck which was the original truck with a gas leak. You heard that right they gave me back the original truck with the gas leak then charge me a third deposit. This all started on Wednesday. We did not take actual possession I will truck fully till Thursday the 12th. Saturday of that same week they charged my card an additional $500. We were in constant contact with Uhaul customer service and location letting them know because of our work schedule mixup with bad trucks we need extensions on the time. We also let them know that the truck was full of our belongings that we could not unload the truck since they gave us the wrong storage not the largest one that we asked for. Once we got the larger storage on the 14th we unload the first load. Where we got back to unload the second load we saw we had no storage lights. So we park the truck again in the Home Depot parking lot on 360 a couple miles away.We had the truck for seven days when we should’ve only had it for two Well because of all the mess ups no lights in our storage we had her for seven days. The location of my storage told corporate office that we had the ruck for two weeks not seven days. So I was not getting any refund for the Over $500 I have been charged. The high charge I was told was also an estimation of the miles I had driven. The truck was probably driven 30 miles the whole time we had the truck at $.99 a mile. Storage issue: I had a storage that you could drive a U-Haul truck into. I begs for lights so I could do what I need to do from November up until March when I was asked to leave. I was asked to leave because the manager cut off my lock on March 11 illegally cut off my lock by cutting into their housing for my lock Leaving sharp metal where I cut my fingers several times. I was never informed a reason why until I got there and the reason why was a look at the lightbulb problem. Resolution: I was told by upper management since they couldn’t satisfy my needs I had to be out in less than 48 hours or everything I had in my storage would belong to them. Believe it or not there’s more to the story of my treatment at this location being laughed at when they thought that I might have Covid 13 and the list goes on and on of how I was miss treated. This location changed my life are the worst in many ways and Mark the manager still has his job. As for me I’m still trying to financially recover from the mess Uhaul has caused me. Turning my life upside down and inside out. Please be aware of the 360 and I 20 location do not rent trucks from there do not ring storage is from there as long as Mark is the manager of that location. The man is too incompetent to even tie his own shoes.

I went moved a few things to my second dry unit and thankfully I did our my 82 in and my 55 inch TVs would have been ruined !! And I moved my pictures which some of them got wet and ruined and I can replace a tv but not priceless memories of pictures I can’t get back !!! I went the next day and they cut my lock and changed it without telling me which means they were in my unit without my knowledge! Had I not gone by to tell them about the leak they I would have never know that they were about to unload my unit with people they found on Craigslist and moved all my large storage unit into small portable crates that who know how it would have been stored and who knows if they would have all been kept together or have my stuff would have been lost ! It looked super unorganized and it was complete chaos!!! The owner cussed at me when he was talking to me ! I went to my car and cried because I didn’t know what to do ! So I was forced to miss work and loose money !!!!! Pray someone could help me ! I had to pay to rent a uhaul which I should be credited for !!!!!! They assigned 3 people to help me load the uhaul well they didn’t tie anything down and I might as well threw my stuff away because it all fell over and cracked and scratched up my dressers and computer desks, broken frames and mirror ! This was such a horrible expensive experience!!!!! I will never use this company again!!! I do want to let whoever know during this whole horrific event not one person wore a mask or social distancing!!! No hand sanitizer or Lysol spray !!! This was handled very poorly ! Unfortunately I had some items with mold from the water I had to throw away also! My storage unit wasn’t the worst there were tons of other people that had to throw all their stuff away !!!! This wasn’t the first time this storage place has had something like this I heard !!!

Rude people that won't even greet a customer until they feel like it. There are videos on youtube to teach you good customer service skills. You can also go to Chik Fil A and see how customers get treated with respect. Simple retail transaction like buying a box or a roll of tape would take 15 minutes. Plenty of negative reviews on Google, but you dont care to change. And tell that lady not to call me anymore. She doesn't even identify herself or the purpose of her call. She just says: "Hello Mr Patrick, how you doin today?" like I'm some kind of ten year old that is supposed to take time out of my busy day to figure out who it is and tell her how my day is going, satisfy her curiosity. The custodians in the storage were nice though. The only reason I stayed was because I felt they were keeping a close eye on things. Don't bother me anymore. I was tired of dealing with you people a long time ago.
