The prices are really high compared to other places. We moved to two 10x40's and pay $150 each instead of paying the higher prices at Uhaul storage for smaller units. The staff is always really nice, helpful and professional. The units are very clean and well kept and the size you need is usually available at Power's location. Highly recommend them.

The only issue I experienced was lack of employees. When I arrived there was only 1 employee working the counter and several customers waiting to be assisted.

My first issue is that I've been using U-haul for 50 YEARS, and have NEVER been required to CALL SOMEONE to "get approval" by U-haul to rent me a trailer. What POSSIBLE reason does U-haul need to have me call someone I know, and then let the U-Haul rep talk to them? That is just fucking stupid as well as embarrassing. You have me on file already, there was no reason for you to question ANYTHING about who I am. Your rep took pictures of my drivers license with a cell phone, which I FIND SUSPICIOUS AND DANGEROUS, and then took a picture of me in addition. Then when I brought the trailer back, the inner return lane was blocked with a U-haul van (empty) just sitting there, so I used the outboard lane. I sat in the return lane as the signs instruct, for 15 minutes before getting pissed and going inside to find out why no one had come out. There were zero customers in the store, and the TWO guys behind the counter acted surprised that I had been sitting there. I will NOT rent anything from U-haul again. Your company has become an arrogant shithole.

While Thor and the storage facility were superb, the policy that you pay the full price of any unit for a month even if you move out 3 days after you pay for the next month is almost criminal. I can't think of any possible improvement!!! The Victor place, Colorado springs store is the best in the country. The staff...including the management staff... exudes professionalism, pride of employment, expertise, courteousy, and friendliness. I have been going into this location for the past 15 years... And it has always been like that... Especially the past 5 years. I would strongly recommend them for moving, storage, and retail sales.

This was my first Uhaul experience. I was incredibly impressed with how personal, intentional and efficient everyone in customer service was, and how easy and relieving the entire process felt from start to finish. For a company so large and well known, I had the assumption that they’d get the job done for a good price but would be a bit of a “bleh” experience that just had to get done, but I was wrong! From the first phone calls for questions/scheduling, to the drop off, hitch receiver installation, to trailer pick up, I felt seen, cared for and at ease. Great work, team! Thank you for making moving across the country feel like another smooth sailing and beautiful day.

The facility and staff are great. But the computer system is horrible. Trying to pick up my truck I had to go to two locations, because my reserved truck was "lost". Then, after reserving my storage unit at a specific location, they moved it to another. I took a screen shot of my reservation number and address of the location. They couldn't look up my reservation number and I ended up getting a storage unit at the location I wanted, but what's the point of reserving a storage unit at a location, if the location is going to change for no reason, and no one informs you?

The space is expensive. The renting process is intrusive and unfriendly. Same for renting vehicles. Very intrusive and unfriendly. I rent vehicles or storage because I do not have any other option! But good businesses will be wanted to be used not being used because of monopoly. The staff at the center are fine. But U-Haul policies are not fine.

I have been using this storage since the early 2000’s and have seen its decline. On removing my stuff out of the storage unit. I had moved out of state had my son to get the remaining off my stuff. I gave him the wrong key for the storage unit. I was informed that they don’t cut locks I would need to get a lock smith and I had to be there too get it cut off. I informed the guy I was 1200 miles away could I speak to a manager. Now my son is there standing in his face. He whispered I am a manager I’m the general manager and say is there anything else I can help you with. I say you haven’t helped me and hang up. I call my son and he tells me he was not the general manager not even the manager the general manager was actually there and when he whispered that and hurried me off the phone the general manager gave him a funny look. I use storage in Colorado Springs all the time. Like I said I have had a storage there since about 2010 or 2011 but they no longer have to worry about me every using them again and most time I have multiple units there. I will gladly take my business else where and make sure I let everyone I come across know how they don’t care snout their customers

The only complaint I have, is that I paid for my November rent to avoid a late charge, had the unit cleared out by the evening of the 2nd, and closed the account the morning of the 3rd, but my rent was not pro-rated. Therefore I was charged full rent ($99.95) for 2 days of storage?!

When I moved into town I needed a temporary place to store some things until I moved into my new house. I was originally headed to check out a different storage facility near by but passed this location and decided to stop and check it out. I am so glad that I did! Every person that I encountered on their staff was friendly and helpful. The facility was clean, secure and well maintained. The online billing and communications were easy and efficient. Bottom line, if you need a place to store some of your belongings, you won't be disappointed with this location!

I’m really disappointed in the way I had to leave my storage unit. They changed my lock and I didn’t know if it, no big deal. But then they “didn’t know” if they changed the lock or someone broke in and changed it. I explained that I was currently amidst a scary domestic violence case and I needed to know if it was them or if I should call the police. The employee literally LAUGHED and hung up on me and said call the police. When I informed the manager of this I was really upset and he informed me that he handles his employees properly. A lot more to this story but that’s to the point enough to see how this location is managed by a bunch of school boys that are not considerate of VIOLENCE and abuse.

Being in the military and being told you are leaving and have to pack all your stuff in less than a week is stressful enough. Now looking for a storage unit that was big enough for all my stuff was even harder. I stopped by this location knowing they had no units big enough to fit all of my stuff. But somehow the manager on duty that day Marco made a bunch of calls to accommodate me and made it happen. On top of that Jordan one of the employees there was super professional and polite. The Manager is fantastic? I was involuntarily moved by U-Haul from one U-Haul facility to the Powers Blvd U-Haul and there were numerous issues relating to the move. The only thing that bugs me is that after business hours- it you need to move big items in or out of the unit/ the big sliding glass doors don’t open.. you have to move through a small door - which is really frustrating. If we can access those doors during office business hours- we should be able to use them when the office is closed.. you can’t get in during business hours unless you use your code anyways - so what’s the difference? Aside from that- the location is great, staff has always been super nice and helpful.

We stopped by to inquire about renting a small storage unit. The person that assisted us was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to get everything taken care of that same day and moved some of our belongings in immediately. The location is convenient. I love the reassurance that the alarm provides. I reserved my storage unit about two weeks ago, and when I show up with a full truck, they tell me they don't have the unit I reserved. They tell me your computer system is always wrong. Then they try to get me to go to another property across town. Finally they find and indoor unit (I wanted drive-up), rented it to me, then when we went to go look at it, there was already a lock on it, someone was renting it, but it didn't show in their computer. So we had to go find another one. All together they were unorganized, and not really helpful. I would recommend fixing your computer system online to reflect what is actually available at your locations. Horrible experience.

Out of all the u-haul places, this one is by far my favourite place to go. The staff are amazing here! They are always super helpful! They care about you and your time. Moved my daughter from Wisconsin to Colorado with 5x8 enclosed trailer. The apartment turned out to be a disaster, lucky for us UHAUL gave a 30 free storage in return for our rental from Wisconsin. The Below Average is due to having a new person working by herself on a Saturday morning, and with very little help, there were 8 people in line, it was hot and of course the stupid mask don't help, not sure why the air was not on. Every transaction was taken forever, people in line were getting frustrated, I wasted a lot of my time in line, when I could have been getting a lot of other things done.

After making my first payment I was then told we could have got the first month free if we rented a truck too. I eventually did end up renting a truck and was still told that didn't apply to me and it was too late for them to include me on that offer. The storage units just north of this location are constantly $25-$50 less per month than uhaul ended up being. Uhaul kept my stuff safe, along with the moths, but I will not be a return customer. Don't mention promos you can't actually give to the customer.

Got a call stating my unit was locked open. Left work and traveling from another city to the storage. When I arrived they let me know that it was not my unit that was open. The employee was rude and dismissive about the situation and the manager never called me about the situation. They knew it was not my unit, and it was in the notes shortly after they called me but no one informed me it was the wrong unit.

Jen was rude to us, and while we called them multiple times (each time getting sent to a call center), not once did we get a call back. Luckily corporate call center was able to help us out. You would think during a pandemic they would be a little more understanding, but no, the manager was rude and didn’t get anything done to solve the problem.
