The problem is our pickup location was changed twice and when we went to pickup,the truck was not there and they hadn't had any trucks for 2 weeks. It was miles out of our way. When we finally got customer service to answer they found a truck that was an hour away from current pickup location. So ever all experience sucked. The discount we received was not adequate, but YOU had the upper hand. We were 3 hours from where we were returning to and had that 1 day to move. We returned truck early so some sort of refund would be appreciated.

FANTA L.I don't understand why did I receive this email. I spoke with someone from uhaul customer service and told them they have the wrong information. I did not get any uhaul rental. The lady said she will talk to the location to see exactly what happened and why my information was used without me making reservations or ever coming to that location.

thomas T.All tires had VERY low pressure when delivered. When I returned and requested them to be aired up to pressure the staff refused to do so. I had to spend an hour with my little inflater to do what would have taken a minute for then to do.

melvin B.THE MILES ON THE TRUCK WENT CAME IN SHE SAID IT WAS 130804.and I didn't take a pic of the miles until I got on the exp way and it shows 130822 and only went from the u-haul place to 2900 on a 159th to 3100 159th park the truck loaded up and went to 3400 west on 159th to the exp . Then I took a pic of the miles it said 130823. There NO WAY I WENT 19 MILES. SOUND LIKE A RIP OFF

WENDY T.I feel like the truck that I rented was very old and not a very maintained vehicle. There was one head light out, the light in the cargo area did not work, there was wires hanging down inside the cab on the passenger side, also the gas cap was broken. These kind of vehicles should not be rented out to customers.

I had negative responses that were much worse at other storage sites. Fortunately, the owner was present for my final visit here. I had paid a full extra month. I had been told I would get at least half of the next month’s extra payment back. I was refunded the full extra month’s payment. The owner took charge of the review of payments and awarded me the full month overpayment. I felt as though I was treated fairly. Perhaps she was a new employee who erred.

Solomon R. | Overall ExperienceThe doors to the storage units were very weak and flimsy. They can easily be kicked in even with a lock on. The wait time for service was often very long in the office and the man at the desk made many errors at check-in that caused him to restart my transaction multiple times before finalizing. Staff were short with their answers and would walk away when trying to ask them questions or get clarification. Lastly, I was not able to reach anyone via phone at the office and was routed to the main uhaul number every single time causing me to have to find time to come in before they close at 7 PM which I never had time to do to ask simple questions that were never answered. At check-in, I asked for 24/7 Access and was told the computer wasn't working properly and that I would be able to add that later. I was never able to reach anyone by phone and when I did come down one day an associate told me she would add 24/7 Access to my unit, but didn't. Dealing with uhaul for my out of state move has been a very miserable experience from truck rental in CT, to storage in Illinois to truck rental in Illinois. Staff are rude and practices are not transparent leaving the customer feeling uneasy. I would never deal with uhaul again and I will ensure no one I know deals with you either. Further I will be leaving reviews on other platforms.
