When I walked into the store from the main entrance there appeared to be some work going on in the main entrance. The people who were working at the front door did not to stop me from walking in. The floor appeared to be wet. After I walked halfway into the store, almost reaching the front desk an employee from U-Haul yelled at me ordering me to stop where I was and to go back out the door and come back into the store from the side entrance. Something that didn’t make sense considering that I had almost reached the front desk. As a paying customer I felt that I was treated with rudeness and disrespect when the first words spoken to me was someone from the store screaming at me and ordering me to walk back out the store and return from another entrance. Someone should have blocked off that entrance or instructed someone at the entrance to let customers know the entrance was inaccessible. This was an unfortunate event however, it still may be enough to prevent me from renting from this location again in the future. David…

We had to move to this location to pick up a 20 ft truck from our original rental location, and they still didn’t have the size truck we needed. Because we had to go with a larger truck, several items were broken and we spent twice as much in gas. Extremely frustrated and disappointed.

I rent a truck that was provided to me locked in the back for loading, I drove all the way home and the lock key wasn't provided with the ignition key, so I had to leave home using my own gas and milage to go back to have the truck unlocked for loading and I waited on hold for 32 mins and then the lady behind the counter didn't care, the young guy she asked to help me didn't come right away he sat in the garage arguing on the phone and I heard it all, then a older gentleman came from back of building then helped me. Service was long and crappy.

Friendly counter person (Tiffany);however, not happy with the rest of my experience. I ordered supplies a month in advance, showed up and they didn't have my utility dolly as expected for move and a 3 hour drive. This is the third time I have ordered things from a U-haul location and showed up and is basically told oh well. I was charged for the dolly and the only way to get it off was to redo the whole order which and Tiffany offered to do but kinda suggested it would take her a long time. To top it off, my gas tank was barely at a 1/4 tank and there was broken glass in the back of the truck. Very unprofessional and not sure I would rent again from U-haul, just worrisome that the basic work is not being done in the front of the store, then is U-haul servicing their trucks and taking care of the maintenance of the trucks? Such a slippery slope when you see a company going down and nothing is being done to improve anything.

They reported the uhaul truck we rented stolen when in fact we called everyday and extended the rental but on the last time we extended it nobody notified the location that we extended it so cops came with guns poinred at us and took him to jail so he has a case to fight cause of their mistake. Its the worst compqny cause the wont help you if something happens like this these charges should have been dropped dqys ago so now you will have a lawsuit on your hands so see u in court

But the guys that work there are very unprofessional and making sexual comments knowing that customers can hear is ridiculous. It wasn’t toward me that’s why I didn’t say anything but … your at work and customers are in and out of the building just be careful of what it said .

The drivers side seat belt light flashed and beeped for about 10 miles. I rechecked the connection then unbuckled and reput it back on but the flashing light & beeping sound continued. Then just stopped as I continued to drive. Just wanted to let u know.

Key tag had a bloody band-aid stuck to it. That was pretty gross. Back of the truck had some sand/dirt in it. Didn't matter for me as I wasn't moving anything with fabric, but it would have been bad if I put a mattress or something in there. Other than that, the staff was polite and quick with service. Everything was explained clearly and I was not waiting around for anything.

The contents of my unit were destroyed by something dripping from the above unit. It caused me much anguish and extra work cleaning it off as I am still trying to clean it off. Also after this last snow there was much ice and the main door wasn’t working…impossible to get in and out with a cart.

Suited our needs quite well; Price point acceptable and average the unit size we needed. Access to unit was secure and easy. Staff was always informative, kind and helpful. It was easy to set up the contract, create on-line access and establish auto-payment for our unit. Would definitely utilize this facility again in this part of Omaha for any future storage needs.

4 stars. Homeless people stay in the way and a roach was in my unit. Only saw one but other than that excellent units. I love how you can reverse the trucks or your vehicle and load or unload your stuff in the garage area. The homeless are always acting like their moving or sorting stuff but they just hang out during bussiness hours.

I had a reservation at Dream Auto, 108th & Blondo in Omaha, for Saturday, 12/2 at 9 a.m. I arrived on time to find the location closed on Saturdays, with a signage on the door that says, "Saturdays by Appointment Only." It's 25 degrees outside that morning. After contacting U-Haul, mobile pickup is not available at that location, & no other trucks in the size I needed are available, but they recommend I pick up a different size on 18th St, 100 blocks from my location, which added considerably to mileage costs. They put me in a 10' truck with no gas in it just to get me in a truck. Ask yourself how upset you'd be if you were 7 hours from home & this happened to you. We ran out of daylight before we finished our move, the smaller truck resulting in more trips. We also returned the truck with half a tank of gas. Not quite sure how that worked out with the billing with respect to having picked it up empty. Please check my customer history for how many rentals I have with you. I'm requesting a credit of some kind for the terrible inconvenience. Thank you.

The app is very wonky and slow, that is not the fault of the employees at Uhaul, the employees were amazing. They were friendly and helpful especially given that it was me (a 22 year old female) and my friend (21 year old female) renting for the first time and we were under heavy stress worried about messing up the rental process. The employees ensured everything went as smooth as possible and we would totally do it again!

They told the truck had full tank of gas it was on empty. It look like a bag of potato chip was behind the driver seat.i cleaned most of it out of the truck. When I pick up the truck the miles on was 17008 but the rental paper said 16819 that 186 mile I never put on the truck. I was charged that extra miles on my bill. I only put 293 miles total on the truck. They estimated $255 total I was charged $405 and turn the truck in 2 day early. I was over charged big time. I was in a hurry to get to work the morning I turn the truck back in but told the person . What my paper on the mileage said and had a picture on my phone what the actual mile was showing the truck number mileage and truck on empty with one picture. It's Thanksgiving today but Friday morning I will be at the store when they open. Not a happy customer.

Filthy. Homeless people living in storage units & brought all that goes with it. My son saw a man laying on the ground being beaten with a golf club. Everything they owned was disgustingly dirty. When I arrived form out of state, the storage facility was too small. I canceled my order on site and here we are 3 months later and I am still getting monthly bills charged to my account - I have made several calls to stop charging me for a facility I never used. I would never recommend.

My receipt says $200, my bank statements states they took over $500. I was told it’s bc I rented via phone and it’s nothing staff can do and manager was out for days working from home. My bank sent an itemized statement via email to said manager and I called, nothing. It’s been over a month. I removed my property and closed my rental storage unit days prior to next payment and will be contacting my lawyer with my receipts.

There is a lack of safety and protection for customers from people that are loitering outside the facility. While moving in during the middle of the day we were confronted by an individual who made us feel fearful and unsafe. This facility needs to do more to protect customers from harassment while they are on the property accessing their storage units. We will reconsider using this location in the future.

When I checked in, I was told there were no more units of the size I wanted. Obviously this is a pretty upsetting flaw in the online system you use, but the guy working at the des (sorry, I don’t have his name), was super helpful and helped to make sure I could still get a room as I was leaving town immediately and make sure it was still affordable for me.

Had it not been for Tristan, this facility would have received a lower mark. Some substitute employee, from a different facility, gave our RESERVED unit to someone else. It was the last one in the size we needed. Tristan jumped into action finding us two units that met our needs, at a discounted price, gave us a free month of rent, and a free lock for the extra unit. Tristan worked hard to solve this issue. The other regular staff are amazing and are very customer service oriented. I don’t think that employee from “old style U-Haul” works at our location very often. I highly recommend the Downtown Omaha facility.

The first time was the worst time with your company. I was given a wrong quote for my truck and storage space. Robert Danner was the best in changing the whole bad situation into a better solution. Place was clean and staff was friendly but billing is absurd! I tried signing up for auto pay and EVERY month I received a late fee and had to call and try to sign up again. I definilty overpaid!!
