I was checked in (walk-in rental) by a lady who had 3 customers ahead of me &1 behind me on a Monday morning. Most efficient, precise & pleasant UHaul employee (over 4 States in the past 8 months!). No comparison between other experiences & her service At the end I asked her name Jessica. She expertly processed every customer, communicated she would be with us s as soon as possible AND handled every trailer hook up at the perimeter of the lot! I've rented where EVERY staff member (pick up & return!) refused to assist in attachment or release of UHaul trailers (see my rental history: Alma, AR on highway 64 just east of Alma - had to leave my hitch behind!). A delivery driver attached it, thankfully. Hideous & unsafe experience. Nonetheless, compared to more NORMAL experiences in CA, NM, MO, & AR - Jessica's expertise stood out as impressive, conscientious, efficient, knowledgeable & done for the sake of 'doing a job well' under A LOT of pressure. Kudos to her! The return, a man, not up to normal customer service standards but I addressed it there & then (seemed to be falling apart with a well-spaced flow of 2 returns & 1 rental, mishandled at each step). So, excellence is there it just needs to be committed to in the form of UHaul paying closer attention to PERFORMANCE & staffing #s.

Even after using code, the alarm goes off when I open the unit. Employee said this always happens. Does not give me any confidence the alarm system is working properly. Garage door is inoperative.

PHILLIP ROSSThis was a great experience for me. Truck was clean the only thing I would recommend is next time actually take the customer to the vehicle they are using instead of making them check 3 different vehicles to see if the key would start any of them. Other than that I would use again!!

I hope the storage experience turns out to be just as good. Plenty of working carts available. Sales associate was very helpful and answered all my questions. The 6 pages of rental contract is a bit heavy on what I assume as "West Coast" rental and facility abuse... Could be streamlined to be more professional: here's what you're renting, insurance, terms and conditions, payment default and lien/sales of goods and then all the nonsense about facility and bathroom abuse in a rules addendum.
