This is the first storage facility that has worked with me during a difficult time and wanted to ensure that I was able to keep my unit. The staff has been amazing. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Thank you!!!!!

I thought I was going to have an at least average experience here it quickly turned into a nightmare. My storage unit was infested with roaches immediately after I moved in. Regardless of me being disgusted by contamination I didn’t complain. Things quickly took a turn when my storage unit was broken into December. The staff gave me parts of stories and lies. Told me storage wasn’t insured even though I thought it was. Idk just an overall nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend a soul to this location not even the company as a whole. I lost years worth of designer clothing, shoes, and on top of that all of my work equipment for my salon and spa. Expensive things that weren’t protected to the best ability in my opinion. I still want to escalate and follow up with a district leader from corporate.

I moved in 10/2/2023 then i moved out 11/1/2023 but stuff charged me extra 1 month more 114.95$ . They tell me something confusing. I don't know English fluently but i wanted the getting done. This is unfair maybe legal but unfair. I will think twice if i needed to your service.

There were several issues with gate key altho the security and cleanliness of the place was good. There was not enough lighting in hallways, lighting timers would be helpful. Young lady at the front desk was usually rude, had an attitude and not very helpful most times which was disappointing. Would recommend going to another facility since there are several in area.

They uhaul system at this location is not good. The staff had issues finding an open unit because the system kept showing them units as “available” that were still being used. The manager at this location needs to fix the system issues because many people have complained about it for a long time. I moved out and yet I am still getting letters that I am occupying the unit and have to pay rent, even though I checked out my unit at the front desk and received paperwork for it. Not a good system at all.

The only suggestion I have is to have every door secured when showing which units are available. One unit was wide open with someone’s stuff inside and one unit was showing customer ready and someone’s stuff was in there.

In response to the Average rating: • The maintenance of the office, grounds, and storage units - excellent. • Staff interaction (friendly /helpful) - Average, The older gentleman comes across as rude and cynical. • Issues - (1) The printer was not working so I was not able to get a paper copy of my agreement. (2) I still have not received an access card to gain entry to the storage units. Currently, I have to go during business hours which is inconvenient with working.

Excellent staff. Very responsive. I also recently rented a truck, and there was a minor issue with the bill. Within a day the staff follow-ed up and resolved the discrepancy. Very good honest staff. The location is very accessible, right next to beltway.

My unit A339 was broken into and they stoled all of my belongings!! I made my payments on time!! I’m not happy about this at all!! I didn’t pay my money for my things to be taken from me!!! This is considered very poor business and service!!!! This is not acceptable and something need to do done or I will take this to court!! I have proof, witness and pictures to back my case up!! Will need recommend this facility to no one!!!

I fell on hard times and got behind on my unit I was told by a manager that I could sign a agreement and pay to keep my storage and gave him the date I would come in and he approved it. Only to get a call from a lady saying that I couldn’t and my unit was being sold despite what me and the manager had agreed on. And I literally lost everything I owned. I think that was unfair

Unit was clean and ready for me when I got there. Online check-in was simple and easy to understand. The only improvement I would suggest is cracking down on the gate usage. There was almost a free-flow of people entering without codes or access cards.

This was an interesting trip. I initially used this storage unit because it was the only one open at the time in my area. I got there at opening time, and the 2 attendants were already overloaded. Only one person appeared to be able to operate the computer, and from what I heard the system was down. Once it was my turn, approximately 30 minutes later, I rented a unit on the midway. My movers had already arrived to fill the unit. When I went to inspect the unit, it already had a lock on it. I was told that the staff could do nothing about the lock. This resulted in unnecessary delays to the access to the unit for my movers. Upon notifying the main attendant, Joe, found another unit. For my troubles, he offered the first month rent free. By this time, my credit card had already been charged for the unit. I asked the attendant what they would do about the charge, and he said that I had a credit. I took his word on good faith and left my items in storage. Thinking I would still have the account credit. 14 days later I need to remove my items, and there is an unrented U-Haul van in front of the doors to get to my unit. When I told local management, they said they could not move the truck. This resulted in unnecessary delays to the access to the unit for my movers. When I went to close the account, and explained my situation. I asked about the credit, and the attendant said I would need to come back when the manager was there. I came back another day, the manager appeared to be there. He tells me that he sees the notes of what happened, but he does not see the credit to the account. I decided to close the account. As the manager checked on the unit, another attendant tells me to call the corporate number, as there is nothing they can do for me. I called the corporate number, and described my situation. They apologized and said that they would contact the manager to find out what happened. Corporate tells me that the manager would call the attendant that made the promises, and get back with me that day. It has been over 24 hours and I have not heard from the Corporate or local manager. I would like the promise of the first month free to be honored and I would like the unit cost to be returned to my account. The delays to my moving company is worth that much.

It’s SO creepy inside! It’s an older building, so it’s not surprising that there are creaking sounds. However, that, coupled with lights that only come on as you move through the building, and that leaves the hallway behind you and further ahead of you so very dark, was just too much for me. I didn’t feel safe.

After looking at the selected storage unit I noticed the overhead door is only about 90” tall. The orange facade above the door creates the look of an opening closer to 9 ft tall. If it were actually about 9 ft. tall it would make loading and unloading my item a lot easier and faster. One of the door tracks is very loose near the top of the track and the door comes out of the track. The mounting bracket is bent and should be straightened out or replaced. We will see how the maintenance man handles this this week.

I was trying to save my storage. Pandemic hit and it was fees on top of fees. I received a call about making a payment called the same day. It rung until it rolled over to the call center and never received a call or a letter or anything. This was a horrible experience and now i have none of those things anymore. Call to see what can be done and they seem to have an attitude all the time.

Joanne has a very clean, extremely well maintained facility. I rented from this Uhaul facility for 8 months, I never once saw inoperable security equipment nor trash around the property. Joanne and her husband are wonderful and kind, which makes perfect sense as to their choices in choosing the team they surround themselves and their customers with. Excellent location and I tip my hat and two thumbs up for curb appeal!! Never thought I would say that when speaking of a storage warehouse facility. If you need a storage space this is your place!!

I had such a bad experience that I ended up cancelling and went to Public Storage and rented with them. Public Storage system was seamless and cheaper for a larger unit than what I was going to rent with U-Haul.

I was robbed for everything I own and manager never even got back to me about fileing a claim.She said she did'nt think I could file because there was no evidence of a break in.I can't help that.And that is ridiculous.I am quite sure robbers break in all the time and leave no evidence.She said she'd talk to her supervisor then never got back to me.I was obviously robbed it did'nt even do me any good to have the insurance .When I told her I had 1000 dollars worth of stuff she just said no.Like that was'nt possible.

Staff are motivated and friendly. This is a secure and well managed facility. Added security measures ensure that entry gate and elevator access are linked. Only issue is long term budget impact - rent is month to month and rent increases can and have occured with little advance notice. The last increase labelled as "nominal" was in fact 7%. All in all, given that only 2 increases occured during the 20 years I rented, the experience was reasonable.

checking in on a one way, I was disappointed that the on site person suggested I call the 800 # which I did then, after a 10 minute wait online, was told that I needed to call scheduling to check in my one way..... what the heck is that about UHAUL. For god sake. please correct that broken process... after a 12 hour day of packing, driving and unloading in 100 degree heat I don/t need the run around from a person on a phone or in the office.

The owners were tremendous and really care, and most staff very helpful yet some front desk staff could benefit from some customer service classes yet I commend them working in today's environment of covid. I will say I am disappointed in uhaul for not bringing down prices at all, and I called to ask. I moved to Proguard and hav an alarm on my unit and provided a lock for free, and pay half the price of uhaul. I recommend uhaul consider safety and business practice of Proguard and do some changes. when I signed up to rent the unit i gave my banking info for auto draft payments. the first payment went without hick up. the second payment i got a notice i was late so i called and gave me banking info again they made the payment. every month forward i would get an email of a late fee assessed and would have to go online to pay my rent payment. i set up auto payment every month and it never would auto pay. for 6+ months i had to pay more than $50 in fees because of their payment system never working and them not notifying me of the payment until after the fees were put onto my account. i finally got fed up with it and moved my stuff out and cancelled my unit. would I recommend this place? no unless you pay for the unit 12 months at once.

U have one dangerous habit. We had storage on the second floor. The elevator was occupied for and extended time and the exit doors to the stairs were LOCKED. This is deadly in case of fire.
