Be more thorough, make sure your trucks are clean and fuel gauge level are accurate. Walk and inspect the truck with your customers before they leave with the trucks.
Very efficient and easy to work with. Only problem was the truck leaked in one area inside during rain storm. Would use them again. Thank you.
I highly recommend this location and especially George for helping me with a mix up in my reservation. He quickly found a solution and I was on my way. Customer satisfaction is definitely his priority!

The trailer had a problem with the lights, I asked for a replacement after the repair man
could find the light problem in a text and I didn't even get a reply! This was the breakdown hot line. Not the rental location. It seems the customer has to go through leaps and bounds with equipment problems. It seems like passing the buck for repairs is the way to go. Except when its monetary going the other way. No one shares the wealth! This is the 4th time I had light problems. If you want no more problems with your equipment. I live in zip code 23322 Chesapeake, VA. I am a master at making light repairs. I don't repair lights when I'm trying to load my equipment to keep a schedule. I couldn't keep my schedule, because I had to wait until daylight to make my trip. I was almost charges for an extra day until I explained my problems.
Charges me insurance I did not ask for, told me there was more gas in the tank than the actual amount and the mileage on paper was different the on the odometer. Pretty shady place.

We came here to do of our truck after our initial location was closed and there was no room to park the truck on the lot. It was unfortunate to see that we were booked for extra milage, while not that much, to take it to that location when it was not our fault that we had to go there.

In and out just the way you want it
I've used this location for multiple moves, and always very good service. Except this time the battery could not hold charge of hazard blinkers during loading. Had to jump it. Wasted precious time.
Returned after closing, though I called to give heads up. They charged me for an extra day. Took many phone calls to get that corrected.
Very disappointed. Manager didn't even offer a discount for the hassle over the dead battery nor for double billing. I'm not sure whether I'll use them again.
George King is by far the most professional representative of your company I've ever dealt with. When necessary I will be using his services again in the future.
Ever considered mounting receiver hitches on the backs of your trailers for customer supplied bike carrying racks?
Need to fill washer fluid container on vehicle before giving to a customer.

Move and truck was awesome
Our truck was dirty and then the gentlemen cleaned it out a little bit but it smelled like smoke and had the dirtiest Windows I have ever seen!!
Met quickly at drop off. Friendly and professional.
Location is an easy off from RT 81 which was nice. The place is well stocked and I felt like I would be able to get anything I needed for a move there.
I was charged for 316 miles and I only drove 38 miles. This was a big deal considering I recently moved, and needed my monies on hand. I had to wait 4 days before my money was credited to my account. This is unacceptable, and unprofessional. I was charged a total of $485.00. When in reality my total was $99.00

Nothing! Best darn customer service ever! We live closer to 4 U-Haul locations but will travel across town to revisit...worth the effort. Thank for the great service afforded us!!!

rented a trailer over a weekend returned it the same day,was charged over $150 for a 5 day rental even after I called and told them the following day that the trailer was returned. I have not been reimbursed yet
The mangers here is the best!
The staff was a little unprofessional. One guy was trying to be friendly and make small talk which was ok, but the other one was 'vaping' while doing things like inspecting the truck. Other than that they were polite and pleasant.

Our truck had a perfume smell (maybe an installed air freshener) that was overwhelming. We rode with the windows down a few inches, even though the weather was cool because of the smell.
The service we received from the clerks was excellent. We were in and out in 5 minutes.
The truck was very clean and comfortable.

I met an employee at your location that was extremely courteous to me in my time and meet his name was George King he is a great employee and I appreciate you having him around to help me in the situation that I was in very pleasant respectful and honest he's a great leader at that location although I don't live in Maryland if ever I was to return to that location that will be the first place I walk into thanks a lot for being there and for taking care me

Otherwise it was uneventful experience.
Unfortunately enough the guy's name tag said he was a manager or owner. Real slow talking, nonchalant guy. Really seemed like he did care to have our business or anyone else's at that point. If your going to be the "face" of your uhal business, then take pride in people choosing to come to your location. Because when people get treated how you treated us. Those people don't recommend their friends and family to go to you to be treated like they are a inconvenience. And you never should stop mid conversation to take the tobacco in your mouth and spit into a trash can right in front of customers. I get it your a garage type place. But christ! Get your image together.

The truck we rented smelled like a herd of cows smoked a carton of cigarettes in it. I did let the staff know, and they offered to wipe the cab down, but I don't think it would have helped. That being said, the staff here is wonderful and we'll certainly be back.

Do a walk around on the rental truck with the customer
Make sure electrical wiring is in good order and working properly. Remove snow from equipment for the customer.
My UHaul experience was way beyond my expectations. The staff is excellent in customer service, polished politeness, and going those extra steps beyond the call of duty. This is my Uhaul forever!
Had some issues with a loose terminal and couldn't get the truck started but roadside assistance was exceptional and quick.
So all worked out!!!
I was disappointed that after reserving, submitting credit card information, and going through pre-check in, that I had to repeat the process again at the u haul yard where I picked up the trailer. Wasted a bit of precious time on what was a very busy and hectic day.
After leaving the store I noticed that the rear bumper had been torn off and was in the back. I immediately reported this. On return the owner apologize and acknowledge that they were at fault. Besides this, this was a good experience.
Quick and easy service each time I've visited this location. Have done repeat business now.

Employees John Howard in Hagerstown Cheryl Mead in North Charleston were wonderful. Ubox system still has kinks to work out. Wouldn`t recommend for long distance moves.
Staff was helpful but grumpy, you could tell they didn`t want 2 be there. I asked the staff 2 change the account being charged twice but they charged the old one twice, thankfully my bank blocked it.
Staff were helpful, but not friendly, they were there only to do the minimum and nothing more.
Service was great and box delivered as promised.

Truck Jjump start at center said we had cab light on Attend parked trk at stor bin for us we did nothing tag on keys said dead bat after jump told let run for 1hr MY GAS I did night bat dead
Several attempts to contact the facility ended in failure. As a result they charged me a months rent when my stuff had been cleared out of the unit for a week prior to due date.
Locking hardware broken. Price competitive, however less space than PODs and ABF Upack.
There was a bit of an issue due to the local fire marshal, but we did get the problem solved in a reasonable manner

The facility leaked and some of my items got damaged, there wasn`t a light inside and although the hours were 7 - 7, that did not fit my schedule.
The guy running the place was nice and friendly.
