There was a disconnect between U-Haul corporate (which I used to make my reservation) and the actual store. They did not expect me to wait (they only take drop-offs) and they were a bit confused by the corporate reservation system. But the store itself was amazing. The manager and technician that worked on my car did great work and was as responsive as possible given the situation, the short staffing, and my "surprise" visit and wait.

Arrived shortly after 9:00 to pick up the vehicle had to wait over half an hour to be served. It would have been worse except a couple of people ahead of me gave up and left. The one employee working seemed to be working hard but couldn't keep up with everyone needing service. Fuel level in the vehicle was low so had to stop immediately to get gas.(calling it an eighth of a tank was generous and a low fuel indicator was on). Between waiting to be served and having to get gas right away I lost nearly an hour.

This site is excellent! We made an error in our storage reservation that came with our truck rental. Uhaul customer service and the site attendant jumped into action and helped us fix it while we were driving...on a Sunday! Thank you all for such great service. There are homeless people living in the indoor units! People walking around barefoot with their dogs peeing everywhere. Others with very large, scary dogs walking up and down the aisles. INDOORS! Smell in the facility is awful. I emptied and closed my unit as soon as I saw a needle on one of the unloading carts. The facility does not pro-rate or give credit for moving out of a unit well before the next month is due.

Terrible service. I reserved my trailer a week ahead of time to receive a call the day before stating the nearest trailer is 50 plus miles out of my travels. That would add 100 plus miles to my trip. So i was forced to take a smaller trailer and over pack the back of my truck in a attempt to complete my move. I had to leave items behind that i wanted to take and over fill my truck. This is very frustrating and bad service.

The only, I can’t even really call it an issue but, the mileage was not accurate when I ran through my pre trip inspection so the system automatically added about 17 miles extra to my trip. Word of advice to anyone renting next, make sure you complete pre trip inspection and make sure your pictures upload. That’s what saved my money from being overcharged. Thank you to Angel, this guys only been there a short period of time but he ran a one man show today effortlessly and took the time to verify that my situation was indeed accurate. Not many people out there anymore who actually do their job without self motivated tactics. Will definitely return in the future to this location.

All of the staff at this location are extremely rude. I have NEVER in my life seen a U-Haul ran like this (coming from a previous GM). Manager refused to respond to emails, phones are constantly forwarded, equipment return was extremely backed up. We rented truck, they handed us the keys, and said this is where its at didnt pull it forward. It was clear across the parking lot. The truck sounded rough and felt like power steering was going out. We were not greeted (during business hours) upon return of our truck we returned it ourselves never once did an employee come outside. I will absolutely never do business at this location again. It is sad to see a U-Haul location so poorly ran.

We had a terrible experience with communication but once I got the General Manager on the phone everything worked. The boxes arrived a day late with no notice. Then whoever dropped the one U Box by the garage had it facing the wrong way so we called and the team fixed it the very next day. Altogether the issues were resolved quickly. Our boxes arrived later than expected. The driver who came and dropped our boxes was AMAZING. She called me the day before to schedule a good time and even came at the earliest time possible. Literally she arrived two minutes early and was extremely helpful. I wish all of the employees were like Sysilia! All of our items got to us without getting broken.

Both the beginning odometer mileage and fuel level were not correct on my contract. (Beginning mileage was understated by 18 miles and fuel level was listed at 9/16, more than double the actual level of 1/4. I had to have these figures corrected before driving off the lot. This was either very careless or maybe intentional dishonesty. This is not rocket science guys, get it right. Your reputation is on the line!

Loud sirens going off every 10 minutes contrary to what I was told cannot be because somebody didn't check in so the sirens go off and they're deafening just deafening. Even after multiple mentions to the office let's get told that nobody's checking in so ain't that busy and I don't like their hours 9:00 in the morning I got s*** to do I could have two loads in by 9:00 in the morning if I can get into the storage facility signed up at 125 next thing you know it's near 200 wouldn't do this again

Card readers were broken only one that worked was inside and the store did not open till 9am so this made it inconvenient to access our unit. Also I was out of my unit on 3/31/23 and the contract was not ended until 2 weeks later after I called and asked what was going on

This is a very nice facility. It is in a good location right off I82. While I was a customer, I always found this facility clean and everything in working order. Every time I came to access my storage unit the doors and lights always worked. The access panel always worked. There was never any garbage or anything anywhere. This is a great facility.

Overall, our experience was fine. The unit was clean and most of the staff was friendly and helpful much of the time. On occasion we had to interact with an employee that didn't seem thrilled or happy to help us, but it was not a chronic issue. My only real complaint was false or misleading information posted (or allow to be posted) online for the Nob Hill location. We drove from West Valley because it is posted online that "access" hours are from 5am to 10pm, with no further details. "Office" hours and "Access" hours are apparently the same. We got there within the 7 0' clock hour but were promptly asked to leave. We were standing right in front of our storage unit but told that we were not allowed to quickly grab just a couple of small boxes- this was upon our move out. My final verdict: yes, I would recommend Uhaul indoor storage (I have never rented an outdoor storage so I cannot speak to that). I would, however, encourage people not to trust the website and just call ahead of time to avoid wasting a trip (and gas) or be forced to drop everything and leave. The best thing the owner of this location can do is address any incorrect information online, regardless of whether or not they themselves posted it. Ensuring that customers aren't inconvenienced should be a priority.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the size unit I reserved online wasn't available. Not because of the facility but online it need to be changed what sizes are actually at each location. I’m moving states and got to the yakima location to find the unit didn’t exist there. Thankfully there was 1 10x10 available but I ended up having to use 2 units with no space to spare because of the online reservation listing spaces that aren’t available.

The facility is not secured to unauthorized visitors because the entrance doors open at anytime to anyone, with or without an access card. I was assured there was plenty of security given that the building sits next to a large homeless shelter.

The guy that helped me was awesome, he was helpful and very nice and informative. Upon my visit I was just going in to rent a storage which I did (by the way storage display was very helpful) I expressed that I was moving and also needed a cargo but was going to rent one in another town upon that the guy was nice to help me find a cargo in another city and was able to book a cargo and same time and get all that set up for me. I left this place amazed if his customer service and taking tht xtra step. Thanks I will definitely send some people to this uhaul place on E. Nob hill and doing my business here. Everything was good the only thing that would of been nice. Is that if you guys can provide info online to say that “ by getting a storage unit, with the 1st month for free - needs to be In- person only” I didn’t know until I went to main location, to get my storage information. When I asked the person he said “ Well, I can’t do anything about it, you needed to come in, in person! “ so my response was, I’m sorry Sir, I didn’t know that you guys were doing the free month with the rental of a storage, and needed to be In person. That’s not what the online website says.. I ask to see if they can do the next month for free. He said No and did not give me a reason, why?.. He didn’t even give me a receipt to confirm my purchase, like I requested. ( I have it in my email ). This is not how I wanted to start my business with you guys, but since I really needed the unit, I didn’t have no choice. Thank you!

My assigned storage room is furthest from the only working entrance. It is a huge building. There are many entrances, but they are “inoperable” and do not allow access. Staff told me it is because the building is not finished being built. The storage business hours are falsely displayed in many places and it is not 24 hour access, it isn’t even regular hour access. Storage hours are the same as office hours, but nobody including staff informed me of that. I understand if hours are different due to covid, however, ALL the signs in the building and online could be updated. It is false advertising and will be reported to the BBB. There were several available storage rooms that were much closer to the only door of access so why was mine placed so far from it. Some staff members were rather rude to tell me I could “just get storage elsewhere” when I expressed my concerns. I won’t recommend uhaul storage to anyone I know. Mike was the only person to help explain issues to me even though he was unable to help make it right. Basically, all staff told me to deal with it, or I could get storage elsewhere. Inconvenient location of the storage room within the huge building from the only service entrance. Falsely advertised hours of access to storage online and at the facility. Rude and unhelpful customer service.

This facility is very busy on the weekends and very under staffed. The wait time for help takes 10-15 min or longer each time ive been in there. This isnt because of a line its cause the employees are else where unaware of the people inside.

I had one of the worst experiences of my whole life at this location. My belongings got stolen from our truck the second night putting us almost 3 full days behind... I was charged over 130 dollars and treated like criminal.... I was lied too, both me and my sick girlfriend had to walk to the closes gas station since our vehicle ran out of gas on a different date... Both me and my family which is a big part of the selah -Yakima community will never rent from U-Haul again. I believe they are doing something completely unfair and wrong as they have also tried to bill me and charge my card for almost 600 dollars... which I did not authorize and will not authorize until court... you simple don’t treat customers like this especially Simone who rents several times a year. I hope they never treat anyone let alone a customer they way me and my girlfriend both where treated.

Had difficult time getting access to the unit. Had a MANAGER yell about me not knowing a special key code required to access unit location. Did not know needed a key pad and pad location not easily located in office area NOT MY FAULT that wasnt made aware at time of rental.

Linsey was excellent, thorough, professional & friendly. When we were there to rent our unit she was the only employee present. She handled at least a dozen other customers. Including an upset customer, checking out & receiving rentals. I was there 90 minutes after I paid for the unit before she could show me the unit. As a manager is the past, I would say you are blessed with a caring, friendly & super professional employee. She amazed me her coping skills & professionalism.

I really liked the online option to reserve a storage unit. I was working long hours and didnt have the time to go in person and having the option to do all this online was super convenient. It was a very simple and quick process. When I pulled up to the unit, it was all ready to go with a lock and key waiting inside.

everyone at the E. Nobhill U-haul facility was friendly and helpful! It would be nice if I did not gave to ask a staff member every time I needed in my unit. The facility is clean and well lit. The staff is professional, I asked about the access I was told the hold up was the city giving permits, which isn't their fault.

When I checked in I got Military discount but first auto payment charged full When I move out they said I had to wait till Monday not from area. Plus they didn’t thing they prorate. Over charged
