Truck had broken glass in the back and was not cleaned out. Truck was an hour away (in Philadelphia MS) in order to get a previously guaranteed model and was given a $50 credit and an extra 50 miles as a “deal” which didn’t cover the fuel for the ride there and back or the truck fuel.

I returned my equipment on time at side location but still have not received my deposit and I was in formed my equipment was not received at said time. I'm very disappointed because the lady at return address did not ask for anything but just said drop off down there and your good. Well that not the right way to do things and I know it's not correct

every time my rent was raised the notice stated that the storage facility was regularly inspected for leaks and rodents. i never saw any evidence that it had been inspected as i had a small leak and some signs or rodents over the years.

It is so frustrating to make a reservation 3 weeks in advance to then have a U-Haul rep call a day before to tell you the truck you reserved is not available but can drive an hour to get it (U-Haul won’t go get it) or get a smaller truck. I go to get the smaller truck (and extra trailer) and the U-Haul rep tells me the 26 footer is on the way. So I waited an hour after my original pick up time to get the truck I had originally reserved. Super frustrating and all could have been avoided.

The only reason I moved out was due to be hospitalized for 25 days and then needed to retire from the antique business and sell everything I had in my storage unit. We had our stuff in storage for approx. 3 weeks. Upon pick up, we discovered mice poop was all over the unit including our belongings. I notified the manager but nothing was done. Upon unpacking our belongings we found mouse poop on most of our stuff. I have to wash all our clothing, linen, and kitchenware articles. Food items had to be disposed of. I called U-Haul and filed a formal complaint.

Mike does a great job with his leadership. Honestly, he is the best employee (Manager/Owner) at the site. The only issue I had with my entire service throughout my rental time was at the end. I reserved well in advance a 20’ uhaul truck to get back to Nebraska. I was given a TWENTY SIX FEET truck. I am traumatized. It was a horrible experience. As a female, driving alone over 800 miles this was a horrifying experience. Backing up, parking, etc. I RESERVED a 20’ truck but was “upgraded” to one of the biggest trucks on the lot. The worst drive I’ve ever had. I wish I could’ve gotten my money back. Other than this, I loved uhaul of Meridian on Frontage Rd.
