Either there was no windshield washer fluid in the reservoir or it was clogged as it did not work. The alignment was way off making it rough to ride and difficult to manipulate the vehicle in reverse. It was OK. I would recommend to a friend I used this location for the location convention, however I have used the Birnie Ave location and found them much better in all aspects.

Scott DeschaineThe website and preregistration was easy enough. Counter sevice was good. My only issue was, I reserved a pickup truck 3-4 days prior at the Chicopee store for a specific reason, due a small driveway and storage unit access. When I got to the store, the truck hadn’t been returned on time and the only other vehicle available was a cargo van. Because of my time restriction and man power, I had NO other choice but to take the van. There was 5-6 other vans and countless box trucks BUT not one other pickup truck!?!? So this made my job extremely difficult and aggravating due to the size of the items I had to move. When I returned the van the person at the counter didn’t speak english, so I had to stand there to wait for someone who spoke english to confirm my return. No discount or anything offered for my inconvenience,…. Not even an apology!!! Customer service doesn’t seem to be an important part of business anymore?. Funny thing is, my credit card was billed without issue. That’s all that matters, I guess?

Seems like they don’t check trucks before they send them back out but was very disappointed and then had to pay extra for mileage even though the mileage given wasn’t enough to even get from where we moved from to where we moved to

Jennifer CarrThe staff were friendly. When I returned my truck after hours though, I was unable to complete the process through the app or the website. Nothing would happen when I clicked Return My Rental in the app. When I logged into the website and got to the step where I take the pictures, the site kept reloading and deleting my pictures. Then I got kicked out and it said it needed to send me an email to validate me, then it said it couldn't send the email for some reason and yet I received an email each time, but there was no place to entire the code. Your 800# isn't open 24/7 so I couldn't get any help. The key slot was locked so I couldn't leave my key. So I'm standing in a dark parking lot messing with this stupid app and website in the middle of the night after I finished moving. I left the truck and had to come back the next morning to return the key. Later after I got home I was able to find a person to chat with to complete the return, but only by Googling "U-haul chat". It wasn't an option easily found elsewhere and it wasn't offered to me. The only option in the app was to call the 800#, which was closed.

bryan kleinCoordination between website and local branch. Mg order confirmation email stated to just show up for my selected timeslot. No mention of the local branch needing to confirm. I showed up on my selected timeslot which was 11 days from ordering and was told no installers were working and that I should have waited to receive a confirmation call. I went back and checked the email and if said nothing except show up at my expected timeslot. The local branch was able to schedule me 2 days later and all is good now. This little hiccup when multiplied by thousands of customers and installs adds friction to the customer experience and has to impact your scheduling of installers and not to mention customers who aren’t nearly as understanding as I was. I should mention this is the 3rd hitch i have purchased and installed at UHaul and this was the only hiccup I’ve had.

matt laphamWe had an appointment to have our tow hitch removed and replaced. When we got there. A different employee was there. And treated us rudely. Was obviously very annoyed that he would have to take tow hitch off before replacing. He said it would be atheist 3 hrs and rudely said we better have a ride. We decided to wait across the street within several minutes the gut called us and said he couldn't get hitch off. When we git back it was obvious that he didn't even try . We looked at nuts holding it on. There was not one scratch on the new paint around bolts etc. Long story short he had ended his work day before it was actually time to punch out. We left.
SEAN RATTIGANI know I did not damage the truck. But after I returned it they sent me pictures of it with huge dent and scratches on it. I know for a fact I didn’t do this to the truck. I have surveillance video of the truck. They won’t show me the pictures they said they took of it before I took it proving it didn’t have any dents or scratches either. This place is not a good location people in trustworthy.
