The whole experience in general was abysmal. We had a reservation for 11:30 AM, which you guys canceled because we ran out of time while filling out the "Pick up your truck" form. Then we called customer service and they extended our deadline but then your app was not letting me take photos of my driver's license so I had to use the website. On your app it says the reservation can be picked up within 1 hour of the time, your agent said 30 minutes, and another agent said 15 minutes. Overall very inconsistent. I have very low faith in the future of U-Haul if this is still a problem. I expect to have some compensation for the hour and thirty minutes I spent trying to figure out your extremely incompetent app.

My internet connection kept cutting out during the sign in. No fault of U Haul. My son was with me and quickly downloaded the U Haul App and everything went smooth as whipped butter. Don’t be old school like me. Get the free app.

The pick up location did not have the appliance dolly or the furniture pads I reserved. The mobile pick up was a long and stressful process and I would rather talk to a person when picking up the truck.

This was the first time I had used the digital drop off system. It worked well. The only difficulty was figuring out where to park the truck. We found a spot to squeeze it into, though.

The Gas Station clerk was horrible. He didn't seem to know what he was doing. Took almost 2 hours to get my truck. Call center reps were atrocious. I was hung up on and transferred countless times. The regional manager finally contacted (forgot his name), and he was able to fix my issues. I wish I remembered his name because he was awesome.

Upon trying to timely return the truck within their Uhaul business hours, was told that they are a parking lot only for Uhaul. Was directed to check the equipment in online. Had internet issues at the location to complete the return. Had to call customer service toll free number for assistance. Drop off location was no help. Definitely not a good experience at the end.

I used the 24/7 rental but for some reason it changed to hand delivered- it took 2 hours before I could get the truck - the young man was not able to help me , he was clueless . Customer service were able to help but the process was long. Not sure who was at fault but time is very important when you are driving to a destination.

Upon arriving, the employee said that they didn't do any checking-in for the U-Hauls, they were only a drop off location. They told me to go to the website to check in the vehicle and to drop the keys into the drop box. This might be the case, but being this was the first time I've used a U-Haul truck, the employee could have been more helpful in assisting with the drop-off process.

Avoid this location (and, frankly, U-Haul in general) at all costs. You will not get to interact with a person here. You will have to deal with all your issues (you will have several- guaranteed) by U-Haul phone customer service. Trust me when I tell you that the words "customer" and "service" have never sounded more oxymoronic than they will once you have experienced U-Haul's subpar excuse for it.

it was very difficult to pick up rental with everything done by phone. Parking was terrible. My rsvp was to include an appliance dolly which wasn't placed in the truck and there isn't any agents to help, so to deal with customer service with the dolly issue was a nightmare which means another moving time.

You're asking all the wrong questions. What you should be asking is "was U-Haul satisfactory?", the answer is "absolutely not". I have never had a worst experience. Your online mechanisms malfunction constantly, I waited two hours at the site for the lock code to even get the truck. Every agent I spoke to was rude and unsympathetic. Your "truck share" platform and "e solutions" are abominable and your staff on the phone is terrible. My collective hold time for an agent was over one hour, they were rude on top of that. I stood outside the gas station for two hours working to get the access code for the truck key lock. It was awful and I want my money back for the awful experience.

Pickup was beyond difficult took over an hour in the cold to get key box code - truck was filthy & after pickup I even found an empty rum bottle & other stuff under & behind seats all probably still there as I didn’t take time to clean the mess left for me … I did clean and sweep the back and had only a bottle of water with me in cab that I took with me when I exited … also this truck leaks … I know this because I was moving in the rain and all the top boxes were wet :( mostly the light weight bedding and clothes but some boxes split open when unloading and now I have more laundry to do :( …

I liked the easy checkin in and return. I recommend that the call center let people know that the location was not open and everything would be done online.

Filed a complaint. Unprofessional! I called to schedule a pick up and your representative had informed me that your representative will help install it to my vehicle. Upon arrival, the person there stated that he doesn’t know how to and he can’t help. Then we could not install the directional light of the transport to our vehicle because he did not have the adapter for it. First, we were not informed that we needed an adapter since we relied on your expertise. You inquire the vehicle that’s towing and the vehicle being towed. If these info were provided, consumer assumes that the equipment being rented consists of all requirements to functionally comply. If it is not, consumer should have been informed that the consumer needs to purchase an additional adapter. Without the directional lights, it is dangerous and illegal. Therefore, you provided an illegal equipment for a fee. Thus, we had no choice to purchase a $20 adapter adding unexpected costs. I called customer service as well but was sent to 3 customer service representatives and ultimately ended the call. It appeared that no one has the answer and left me on the call for more than an hour. I have no choice but to email in hopeful that someone will reply and settle these concerns. I honestly should not be charged for this at all!

Fix the broken AC, this is Texas for god's sake. Fix the truck so you don't have to stomp on the brake before it will actually engage into a gear instead of appearing to be completely broken. Fix the lock box so the key doesn't get wedged inside requiring 20 minutes of struggle to free it. Fix the instructions so it is clear that lock code is for the old school tumblers out of view on the side of the mechanical lock instead of being meant to be entered in an app as the text implied. Completely shitty experience.
