dont think there should be such an exaggerated charge for not returning the rental to the same place it was rented from as opposed to dropping it off 50 miles up the the road at another uhaul rental depot.would not recommend that to others.

Neil BarkhouseThis was an alternate pick up location, it was supposed to be picked up in Moncton, where move was originating, Got called 2 days before booked pick up date telling me there we no trucks available in Moncton, and requesting that I pick up truck early in Shediac. As we were not ready to leave NS 2 days early, I requested to pick up closer to where we live. Location difficult to find, their phone number did not work and my cell service was poor, took a long time to get key and follow the instructions. Dolly and furniture blankets that I rented were not in truck We were there at least an hour. Poured rain the day of move and found out the truck leaked. Everything was wet!

James WhynotNot much can be improved on my most recent experience. The trailer was clean and in good condition. It was easy to attach to my vehicle. The lady at this location was lovely. She was friendly, quick and efficient, both at check out and return. She checked the trailer condition with me and explained how everything worked.

Amy PricePersonnel are not responsive. The planning process there is terrible. I booked 15’ truck and vehicle auto transport two weeks in advance, but when I come to pick it up they gave 26’ truck. They didn’t notify me about change. I planned my relocation properly, and u-haul has prepared unpleasant surprise when I came for the truck. The personnel didn’t even try to solve the problem.

Bob PurdueThe entire parking lot was plowed free of snow except this one vehicle. There was 15 feet of snow a foot deep that was blocking it in while other vans were completely clear. I had no alternative but to take this vehicle as it was an after hours pick up.

And without a jack on the trailer or one provided , was very difficult to lift the trailer to put on and off the hitch . Recommend for a jack to be provided and also that the hitch be elivated off the ground on a stand or block . .. This is certainly a safety issue , back injuries are not fun ! I only used quarter of a tank of gas, so I didn't put many kilometers on at all! I did not receive a deposit back. I was very surprised that the bill was over $100 what I expected.

Joe HuntleyEvery person I spoke to gave me a different cost. The phone sales person quoted me one price which was not what was in the system when I went to pay for the rental. In addition to the price per day being different than I saw online she inputted 3 days into the system instead of the one day. When I met with the staff during pick up we identified that I actually only needed to rent for one day but the system wouldn't allow her to go down to one day, she was able to reduce the rental to two days as I originally requested. Very confusing and frustrating. The staff at the pick up location were excellent to deal with, the service rep did her best to rectify the errors made but the phone sales rep.
