I rented the 10' truck they had for an all day rental. The truck was incredibly, disgustingly unclean! It reeked of a mixture of alcohol and cigarettes. We had to drive with the windows down the smell was so bad. In addition, we received the truck on 3/4 of a tank of gas. We stopped 5 miles from Handy Jim's to refill the tank before returning it. I put it back to the 3/4 mark. They charged me $15 for gas saying it was below the 3/4 mark. It was not! I chose this location because it was the closest to my house. I do NOT recommend this location. It is advisable to drive a bit further for a better experience.

Rod DWe initially scheduled the pick up for Boardman Ohio. We had to change the weekend of the pick up and without request it was changed to Akron Ohio. This is 60 miles from where we needed the vehicle. The vehicle was not clean there was dirt all over the floors And the gas was not full. It was at 1/2 tank. U-Haul indicated I needed to drop it off on December 31 by 3:20 PM. When I got to the location they had been closed since December 23. What was the point of dropping it off at this location? This is not my first negative experience with U-Haul, but it will be my last.
Lester OI had a 10:30am pick up, I went into the location to pick up. Was met with an employee who told me the Uhaul manager wasn't there. She called him and told him 'some chick is here for a uhaul'. He didn't show up until 11am. I was told I could drop off at ANY uhaul location after I was done, but on the app and online I was notified that if I didn't drop off at my designated drop off location I would be charged extra.
Alexis NThe service worker was rude, the first truck had a broken side mirror, then they sent me across town to a U-Haul partner instead of the actual U-Haul location which made the process harder. Then when i got there they charged me extra when she said i wouldn’t be charged any more

tammy mThe interface for the mobile pickup is TERRIBLE. I had to call customer service 2x. The websirmte kept losing contact. I had to complete each step multiple times. It took me over 25 min to complete my pickup simply because of the interface
