I was not happy about the lady at Regent location who said you can't reserve a utility dolly that it was first come first serve but that wasn't right and I was not happy . So lucky they had lots on Dufferin local

There were no moving blankets available as I'd requested when I booked the truck. The box of the truck wasn't swept out and there was gravel on the floor. The windows were filthy and there was no windshield washer fluid. When we returned the truck the man at the store couldn't process the return while I was there. It was resolved about 1/2 hour later.
Kathy E.Communication skills of the proprietor (lady) are weak. Her excitability when asked about charges incurred is a distinct turn-off. Her daughter, on the other hand, is much more effective in dealing with clients (there were several of us in the store). I admit I am not a frequenter of the store. I only used your company because of its proximity to my home. The van was dirty/unwashed externally. It's interior appeared to have been swept but was still dirty. While I would refer friends to your company for a vehicle/van, I would not recomment the location.
gary H.I booked 15 foot truck Saturday afternoon to pick up at 5 pm Sunday. I showed up at the U-haul location at 5 pm and was told that the truck i booked was at the repair shop and all that was available was the short trucks. Because I needed the truck right away i agreed to the shorter truck. The first truck I was given, the key would not work in the ignition. the next truck i was given had paint missing off the truck and the drivers door had to be slammed to be shut properly. Because the tuck was shorter then i needed, I could only get part of the stuff moved and had to bring the truck back early. When I returned the truck, there were 2 of the trucks i requested in the parking lot.

steven J.Truck required a roadside assistance call due to a completely dead battery, however, uhaul roadside assistance was very helpful & found a roadside assistance provider that came out & was able to get the truck up and running within a couple of hours (I was out of town by about 40 mins).

The wire spool on the overhead door on the cargo area was so poorly maintained that it prevented the door from fully closing. The transmission flipped into tow mode by itself. The people working at the location never apologized. Only asked me if I had bought the extra insurance as if it was my fault tjat I broke something as opposed to the obvious lack of maintenance. Terrible experience
Houman S.Agent doesn't speak fluently, he assigned a truck that wasn't in good condition then it took him almost an hour to give a new truck. He prioritized other customers buying groceries above Uhaul customers. He made sure he sold to everyone on the line before attending to me. It wasn't a nice experience at all, I regret picking up from this location.

The check engine light was on; the light was on for "Fill rear right tire" and a light was on for traction control not working. The truck was filthy outside but due to weather it is expected. Thankfully the truck worked for our move. I put a note on my drop off report the truck should be cleaned and the app wanted to charge me $25.00 for cleaning; this truck was not clean when i picked it up so i cancelled the note as I shouldn't pay for other peoples mess. The store owner is amazing and super helpful.
BRENDA T.Initially there was a language issue. I went along with what he did as I didn't want to confuse him, as there was a line up if customer's behind me. I was to be only charged a $34.95 pick up charge. I was asked how many miles I would need. Being 68 years old. I had a handle on the answer. He actually charged me $74.11based on what I suggested. I asked him if I would be charged the correct amount when I got back, and he just smiled at me and looked at the next customer. Long story short. When I got back. It was 14 miles and he said my charge was only some $69 after looking at my pics of the dash readout. He showed me my email address and said my receipt will be on my email. I asked for a receipt from the register and he looked at the next customer again, so I just walked out. I still don't have the correct amount or a refund and no emailed receipt. I will not be returning unless I need a lottery ticket which it looked like he was really good at. I didn't see anyone else with a food item in their hands, so I can't comment on that !

Not good experience. People are nice behind the counter.

Cody F.Arrived to pick up my truck at 1:30 only to be informed that they changed my time to 2:00 without telling me, finally got the truck at 2:30. The truck had low tire pressure and a check engine light on. Afterwards I filled the truck to the exact level of gas that it started with (I had photographic evidence of this) and they tried to scam me into filling it above what it had. They over charged me before I could take the truck and have yet to refund me the amount I over paid. The management at this location should not be operating a Uhaul rental.

trevor W.Location was fine. It was just a mess and a whole lot of confusion trying to book a truck. Very incompetent. Emails we wrong, received email reservations was cancelled when it wasn't. Told me to pick up truck at wrong location. Just really messed up. Online is a joke as you are not really booking anything not even reserving anything you have to wait till they call back the next day and by then your reservation is gone because someone else took it. Just make the phone call and actually speak to someone and reserve it. Do not use online booking
