The only real issue we had wasn't with the location: it was with the UHAUL app. Gave us quite the headache during pickup and return. Would not pick up on my location or let me scan a barcode when at the rental store during pick up and drop off despite having full permissions to both my camera and my location. When I tried to chat with live support regarding these issues in the app, the chat window froze while I was trying to send a photo to the agent showing the mileage and fuel level (the location closed before we got back). Thankfully the employee at the store was very helpful and walked us through everything during pickup, so overall they were great. But truth be told, the UHAUL app is a pain to deal with and is not optimized.

Vijaya KAs we encountered a small issue in returning the equipment not due to anything the return location had to do with but a U-Uaul customer service question. Nevertheless we got the answer we needed. I would still use U-Haul equipment because it’s affordable and easy to use.

Robert MJon at the DeKalb rental was very friendly, helpful, and understanding. Getting a U-Haul was simple and easy to pick up as well as drop off. We lived closer to a different one but we are very happy to have gone with this location because of Jon so we highly recommend this location due to Jon :)
Vicky MBig thanks to John for helping and assisting me from start to end of my rental. My first time renting and driving a 10ft. truck and John even instructed me to operate the truck. But I had to ask for a refund because when at the time of loading, the rear door won't open maybe because of the ice. I called them and they said that they will refund it in 3-10 business days.
jose mTHE MANAGER CHARGED ME FOR MILES AND FUEL EVEN THOUGH HE HAD NEVER ACTUALLY SEEN THE FUEL GAUGE LEVEL AT ATLAS WHICH WAS A HALF TANK. I PUT IN JUST UNDER A HALF TO BRING IT UP AFTER MY ISSUES. I WAS FRUSTRATED.

John RI just feel that $125 for a cleaning fee is unfair for maybe some hair's and I was double charged for rental fee when I had the truck a day. No returned phone call to discuss anything before being charged.

Not only did he treat me with the utmost respect, but he also did the same for my wife and my daughter. Service like this should be given all around the world. I truly am grateful for U-Haul and Brian’s excellent service.

Traci HThey were nice and pretty quick. But one guy was on the phone a personal call as the other gentleman helped us. We were told we would have 19 deducted from the invoice if we brought it back with more gas. We did and this location could not advise about it and in checking my receipt it did not happen. When we got the truck the gas was on E and barely made it to the gas station. We filled it up over half way and returned with way more gas than received. No one could advise of the credit. jeff gStop cheating people out of their harder than money!! Picked up the truck at half full tank of gas returned. It was over a half a tank and they still charge me another $30 on top of that.! They asked me to bring the truck back to them and said I wouldn't have to pay the mileage coming back and they charge me $50 anyway! I don't believe I should pay for doing a favor for U-Haul by bringing the truck back to that area! I would have left it where we moved to otherwise and they asked me to do the paver bringing the truck back to them and I did and then they charge me for bringing it back! That's totally wrong!!
