If one puts more gas than the original amount should have some rebate, the per km charge is already excessive.

Moataz SMy one and only complaint is that the truck had less than a 1/4 tank of fuel. The new system of renting and bringing back with the same fuel in it that was there when picked up is way worse than bringing the truck back full. My first stop was to get fuel and not knowing how much fuel I was going to use means you have to potentially add fuel twice. Customer should never have to worry about fuel as soon as they pick a vehicle up.

NEIL BChecking in and picking up the truck using the mobile app was such a frustrating experience. If I ever need to rent a uhaul again it will definitely be from a location that is open, and had a check-in counter available with a real person.

Nolan SNo fault of the location, but the photo portion of the app (for odometer/gas gauge) didn't work. It just showed a black screen on my iPhone camera.

Maksym LThe vehicle was clean inside but had not been washed. Not a big deal. Also, I refuelled the truck prior to return and was surprised it took $16.80 of gas for a trip of 22 km. I doubt the previous customer had filled the vehicle.

Penny BThe system of the trucks and what’s on the contract. I got a 15 foot truck for 5 hours and on arrival the milage was wrong so I had to spend my time figuring that out. And also the amount of fuel was wrong. The contract said a 3 quarter tank but it was only at a quarter tank. I felt like I had to really look over everything or I would have been charged for more than I actually used it for. The system wasn’t good and was just a hassle because I had to correct them on things that shouldn’t be my problem.

Michael BAlthough I had a good experience I should have been told about the text message that I would expect after/closer to the return time of the equipment as I was returning the truck after office hours. I returned home and I saw a text asking me to verify equipment which I could not as I was away from the drop off location.

yousuf oI experienced extreme delays trying to rent a vehicle after hours using the UHaul app. After many attempts and a lengthy call with a service rep, a supervisor assisted and successfully processed the rental. The same supervisor committed to processing a $50 credit as compensation for the inconvenience of a lengthy check out process but after a month, this has yet to come through. I am a long term customer of Uhaul but was very disappointed with the service and lack of follow up.
Tom CI had a great experience this Thursday August 4 2022. The wonderful woman running the desk today was extremely helpful. When I was unsuccessful in understanding the process on my cell phone she has no issue with that she took care of it. When I returned I didn’t even get into the office she came out verified everything for me and I was promptly on my way. Wonderful customer thoughtful customer care.

neil yThe verification process is terrible - you don’t need a third party to verify if you went to a staffed location, not do you say you need a passport in advance meaning it was incredibly inconvenient to then get another person to “verify” us. I gave my phone number for the booking and my husbands as he was the driver so we had to ask a friend to let us use theirs so uhaul could call? Ridiculous
Richard BI received excellent customer service yesterday. She helped me get on my way quickly and efficiently. She went above and beyond to help me get registered as I am not a whiz when it comes to computers. She was there early and helped me out when it wasn’t her start time. Overall I am very happy. Thanks
