They didn't have the moving pads that I had reserved a week prior. Had to go to another location to try to pick up the pads, which took about 30 minutes to accomplish. Had I known I would need to go to a second location, I would have just reserved everything there.

Renting from Uhaul was a frustrating experience... Because Uhaul really wants me to use their app -- which is buggy -- I ended up spending way too much time fighting the app but then also dealing with a live person -- who hardly knew what she was doing. Basically, I lost an hour of my time so that Uhaul could save 5 minutes of theirs.
George KIt took too long to check out the equipment - about 30 minutes. It should take less than 10 minutes.
Michael GThey didn’t have the furniture dolly. The guy working there was nice enough to call Ron, the regional manager, to arrange a pick up at a different store on Kingshighway. However, none of the other stores there were aware of this arrangement and told me to go to the other store.

I called it in within 10 minutes of leaving the lot when I discovered it. The front desk people handled reporting it. Otherwise the truck was fine just sounded like the gears were grinding. I think you should have someone check the engine and transmission..

After complaining to the site manager I was told it’s not there problem and I wouldn’t be compensated for they delay and extra expenses that occurred.

Robert GIt would have been nice if they provided windshield scrapers during the winter. Snowed the day I picked up the van and had no way of clearing the windows or side mirrors. Or if they was one, i didn't see it.
Ann WKeys for my truck were in the wrong box. The extra dolly and cart ordered were not in the truck. Had to call management to get key situation sorted out. Manager on the phone said the facility lost a manager recently and they were having issues.

CHRISTOPHER LThe lock boxes for the keys were easy to break into without a code. You could pry the door open enough to pull the keys out. We felt lucky the keys were still in there. We ordered furniture pads with the truck that were not left for us in the cab or storage portion of the truck.

Scott FInside of the Truck cab was covered in dry mud, also all over the ramp. I took pictures as I couldn't believe or understand why they would rent a muddy truck. Staff would not clean but did provide me a broom to clean it myself.
DARIUS DWorst move of my life!!! Reserved a large truck but upon check in, they had system issues and couldn’t lease the truck!!! Instead they gave me a truck for a 1 bedroom move to move a 4 bedroom job!!! I had to take 4 trips while pregnant to complete the job!!! And didn’t even offer ANY reimbursement of mileage or Anything!!!! Still charged me full price for a move they screwed up!!!

MICHAEL NThis is my first time renting a u-haul so I don’t have much to compare to, but the truck had dirt in the floor and the dash was dusty. The location looked run-down also. I didn’t like the mobile check in. It took FOREVER. I arrived at 8:50 thinking it would be a quick process for my 9am reservation but it ended up taking 24 minutes. I would try to avoid u-haul if I had to do a 24 minute mobile check-in in the future - it was not a pleasant process.

HERBERT MIt was not clear at all where to put the truck when returning it. There was no chance that I, by myself, could possibly get the truck safely into the slot I got it from, so I left it in a parking spot in the lot. Otherwise really smooth and easy.
Alex HThe U-Haul app would not let me enter the correct mileage on the vehicle. It insisted the mileage was 1000 miles less than what was on the odometer, resulting in a $488 charge. So that sucked a lot.

I opted for the rideshare rental normally the key would be in lock box but this time system told me to go inside for key. He was unruly didn't want to hear me out as I tried to show him what was on my phone through the glass he didn't want to see it kept over talking me. I will not use this location again

Brian SShowed up after hours and dropped the key in the return box over 12 hours before it was due back. Alarm for the building went off after putting the key in the slot. Left after a couple minutes and thought nothing of it. Called the next morning to make sure the truck was returned. The lady said she would do it and call me back right away. She called me back three hours later saying that I was charged an extra day and I would have to call customer care to get it fixed. I did everything right other than fill all the way full which I'm happy to pay for that. It's ridiculous that I'm being charged for an extra day with insurance for that location not doing it's job.
