Our local helpers have been helping people move since 2002.
Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
Movers worked hard but was not totally happy with the packing in the U-Haul truck. Rented plenty of blankets to protect everything and movers only used 25 percent of the blankets. I had to go in and re pack a bunch of items with more blankets to protect them from rubbing on each other.
We have moved several times and this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. I wish I could go back in time and hire a different company. We ended up having to pay an additional 2 hours on top of the 4 previously booked, which has never happened in any of the times we’ve previously moved. The two movers spent the entire time bickering with each other which made the job slower. They also damaged almost all of my furniture. Giant scratches and dents. I’m so upset at this job. If I could give 0 stars I would. Do not recommend. I didn’t sign a release form and you are lucky I don’t sue for damages.
The movers were on time, equipped and professional. Communication was a breeze. 10 out of 10, I do recommend.
