• Two movers were scheduled to arrive together, but one showed up over an hour late. Rather than wait, the first mover attempted to handle large items alone—resulting in a box spring sliding down the stairwell and crashing through the drywall. I had to step in and help just to keep things moving, and by the time the second mover finally arrived, most of the work was already done. To make matters worse, they left without returning the keys to my building and unit. I immediately contacted the company for help with both issues, yet nearly a week has passed with no response whatsoever. If you need movers, save yourself the headache—honestly, you’d get better help hiring people outside a Home Depot than using this company. U-Haul should seriously reconsider promoting them on their website. ...I intend to post reviews on Midwest Movers in all of the major forums regarding this incident.

• Genius and Andre were great. They were on time and did a great job of moving my things. I wish I had a tip to give them.

• Both of the men that were scheduled was late arriving. The one named Dewan Baker was not only late but smelled like marijuana and was very slow and unorganized, then had the audacity to ask for a tip. The other gentleman did most of the work and was actually a good worker.
