• Movers arrived on time and were super friendly and polite. However, movers arrived and said they were told last minute that they had to disassemble the bed, so they forgot to bring tools. I have told the manager a couple days and he confirmed. So I had to run and try to get tools. While I was looking for tools they tried to put the bed frame in the elevator. I arrived with my tools and they disassembled the bed at the elevators. They did damage the bed and then told me that they didn’t break it and that there was tape. I also think the loading of a few items could have been better. Very expensive for the service I got. I’m glad they arrived on time and at all.

• Lee and Ron were incredible. They showed up on the agreed upon time ready to work. They asked about the size of the truck and where we were traveling. They walked around the 2 bedroom apartment to assess the project and boom, went to work. In 1.5 hours they loaded all the contents onto the truck. The best part is after driving the truck 7 hours - nothing moved in back of truck - all contents were securely loaded. Highly recommend.

• Welcome Home Movers provided the best experience. They called quickly to schedule, and had the flexibility to meet my time table. The team showed up on time, were friendly and courteous, moved quick, worked hard, and handled my household items with care. We had to make two trips, and the team had no issue with it and still managed to complete the entire move in the time scheduled. I will recommend them to anyone who needs moving help in the futue. • We had 3 guys from this company help us with moving items from our apartment down to a U Haul truck. These 3 handled the moving like pros, easily moving items that would have been difficult for us to move. They were very courteous and professional, and were helpful at every point. • Best movers I have ever hired! They called the day before to set up a time. After agreeing on 3pm, I called them the morning of the move to see if they could come at 1pm instead since I would be arriving earlier than intended. They were able to move around their schedule to accommodate and were ready to unload promptly upon arrival. They were so easy to work with and very polite. They had no issue with bringing up lots of heavy boxes and furniture up three flights of stairs. I cannot recommend them enough.

• Robert, Will, and Kian were amazing. They were flexible with timing when I was delayed getting into DC which was incredibly kind of them. They got the truck unpacked in half the time anyone else had and were very careful with all my items. Everything is in great shape and they had the best attitude all evening - very lighthearted which helped considerably after a long day of moving. I cannot recommend them enough.

• Were not careful when setting down sharp objects on hardwood floors or leaning on walls. Set down boxes very hard instead of trying not to drop them down roughly. Rope was tied in truck improperly and came undone during drive causing shift in all contents. However they were hard workers and very courteous.

• Lee and Will were awesome. Super nice guys with a great attitude despite having to move my stuff down 4 flights of stairs with no elevator on a very hot and humid day. They were running a few minutes late, but let me know ahead of time. They are professional, and were very patient with me when I had a mishap with my new building’s management. No doubt would I book Welcome Home Movers again if I have to move in DC. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you need some move help.

We have some HEAVY furniture and live in a three-level townhome, but it was no problem for this team. They were attentive to our concerns and requests, and they offered some great recommendations as we loaded the trucks. We couldn't have asked for a smoother experience on load day. • Lee was available with short notice to help my moving during the labour weekend. They arrived on time, were fast loading and unloading the truck and careful with our furniture. I called them to help me only with heavy furniture but because the truck was not full yet, they volunteered to fill it with all the boxes that I was planning to move later in the day. I recommend them and will use again in the future!

  Thanks for the review. We apologize for Uhaul not having pads available. The customer stated they wasn't worried about pads. The movers suggested they at least use old cardboard. The customer ultimately refused.

  Thanks for the review. The Movers reported damages before moving the pieces off the truck. Customer stated they were aware. We really don't know why damages are being blamed on us. It was a first floor unload with no stairs.

• Request is for a full refund, as movers didn’t arrive as scheduled. On 3/5/15 there was a snow storm forecasted, so earlier in the week I rescheduled + was confirmed for 3/6 at 9:00am. At 9:15 on 3/6 I began attempting to make contact, as the movers hadn’t arrived. At 9:35 I received a call from Courtney stating the driver needed to recheduled to 3/7 for car trouble related to the weather. I stated that I had already picked up the truck that morning and therefore couldn’t reschedule. Courtney stated she’d call the driver again. She then left me a voicemail & sent a text asking again to reschedule for 8:00am on 3/7. I responded that I was loading the truck and we would be done “today.” On 3/7 I received an automated email at 3:47am rescheduling to 3/7 and at 9:30 Courtney called indicating that movers were at my now former house. Courtney became argumentative, though I had not agreed to reschedule and had told her we’d finish on 3/6 when we had the truck.
