Same guys helped unload and the experience was just as bad as the loading. Probably worse! 1. They didn't bring the washer connections and didn't set up the washer or dryer! 2. Broke a switchplate in the house while placing the bed. 3. Took an extremely long time to unload everything into the basement. They didn't have to climb up any stairs at all and still took so long to move things! 4. The treadmill wouldn't fit through the door, and instead of being courteous, he tells my husband 'you break the wall, and we'll take the treadmill in'. Why do they have to be so mean and sarcastic? Can't they say the door opening is x inches and treadmill is x+y inches. Sorry, it won't fit. Talk about breaking down walls instead! We strongly recommend hiring professional movers who know what they are doing and are efficient.

We have moved several times; this was by far the WORST experience. 1. The movers showed up late. They did communicate that with me, though. 2. They walked through the house and knew exactly what needed to be loaded into the truck. They did not mention that the space was insufficient, nor did they finally load everything. We had to bring the u-haul back a second time and load it ourselves. 3. They loaded smaller things and left the heavier items behind and we had to specifically ask they to swap. Took up time and energy! 4. They didn't shrink wrap anything and all the files fell out of the file cabinet during unloading. 5. They were inefficient and slow. We had moved all the boxes; all they had to move was furniture. They took 3 hours to load approximately 20 large pieces and 10 small ones into the truck. Moving is stressful, and having help like this only worsens it! We'd have been better off without this help. And to think we paid so much just adds salt to the wound.

I had high hopes for this company based on previous reviews, but was unfortunately disappointed. My arrival time was from 1 to 130. Eric texted me saying they would be there closer to 130. I sent a follow-up text around 145 since I still hadn’t heard anything and received a text that they were parking. It wasn’t until I tried to call them to see what was going on that they showed up at the lobby around 150. No apology or explanation for being late. Were they rude? No, but was there a lot cursing etc that I wouldn’t expect from ‘professional moving company’? Yes. This is a business transaction so a certain level of professionalism is expected. Lastly, I had damage to my couch legs and coffee table. Probably not done on purpose, but if the correct equipment and level of professionalism had been brought, I’m sure it could have been avoided. Overall I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone else.

I do apologize and I understand the confusion We arrived at the downtown apartments at 1 35 look for parking Downtown. Theres no parking anywhere we looked for a good parking spot waited for two vehicles to move and then parked while communicating what was happening There was a Then we parked while conveying what was happening There was a flurry of expletives that did not originate from us. We apologize for any inconvenience caused in the lobby and hallways on game day before we left it was smiles and high fives. Not sure what happened between now and then.

Eric communicated ahead of time via text his ETA. Eric and DJ showed up on time with dollies and moving straps, were basically wizards fitting the majority of my apartment in a 10' U-Haul and were very courteous! It's simple. Heavy on the bottom, lite on top. We started the job, and they came and repacked it for a tighter fit. We had a shelving unit to protect breakable items. They put a heavy item on it which bent the unit. Totes were crushed and broken. Items were broken that they moved from the house and packed on the truck. Things were scuffed, ie my suitcase is now missing fabric on the corner. They were nice guys. I tipped them even, but had I had the chance to stand and supervise the loading, I may have had a different result. Disappointment.

As I recall, I rearranged a small portion of the ABF trailer towards the front and the shelves are in the same spot as before, as the photos we took show with lighter items then before I strongly believe that what happened must have occurred during transit or due to the load not being properly secured after we left. I could not have asked for a better team. Eric, the owner and his colleague were prompt, friendly, and extremely efficient. I had very heavy heavy pieces of furniture (teak hutch from India in particular) and they handle the loading of my trailer with extreme care. Do NOT use this mover! My moving truck was packed very poorly!! When I arrived at the destination and opened the back of the truck, all items had shifted and several of these fell out of the truck when I opened it. I took pictures of the damage and sent them to the owner, who promised a full refund.

After i walked away, there were arrangements made between eric at aplanet and my wife. i was not party to any agreement they had. eric came to me and asked for a payment code. he did not tell me they were complete, nor ask if i was satisfied. since they had already refused to perform the work and told me to hire someone else, my obligations were met. i did NOT provide the payment code. i advised eric his contract was verbal, between him and my wife and that he would need to contact her. they dropped the first piece of furniture they took of the truck, and i told them to stop. when i came back they were unloading again. they were late, would not accept phone calls and it took them 3-1/2 hours with 3 men to unload the same items Harders Movers loaded in 2 hours with 2 men.

The truck company totally hosed me on the reservation. I had a confirmation nuber for a 24' truck but when I got there, they only had a 16'. We had to make two trips. But the movers were great!
