Moving Helpers are individuals or small businesses who offer their labor services on our Marketplace, many of which specialize in loading and unloading U-Haul truck rentals and U-Box® containers.
John, Rell, and Jake are outstanding. The communication and transparency set them apart. Throughout the day John kept in contact with me to let me know the latest update on getting my UBox. They’re also efficient and careful with the unloading. Would definitely recommend.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. First, they were 3 hours late. Then, they seemed to be on a rush, they started loading stuff without any thought in the most efficient ways to load. They packed the truck so poorly that they would tell us that everything wouldn’t fit. They started complaining about my husband to me. We happened to speak Spanish but it seems that’s the only language they knew. At the end we told them to leave. My husband rearranged a third of the truck and all of our stuff fit. Let’s see how much stuff is broken once we get to our destination because they drop a box and they mishandled the couch.
Arrived 30 mins late. We did almost 75 percent of the work to start. Took 35 mins for one piece of furniture. And then another 35 mins to unload it. We loaded the turnck ourselves in less than 40 mins. They took forever. It's still not done and we will be doing the rest ourselves. We lost time because they complained about where we parked the truck so i drove an extra 30 mins trying to find something closer for them. Overall, if you want actual moving help, i would not suggest this company. My boyfriend and myself did most of the work.
