Allen’s dual-compound cradle system securely holds your bicycles in place and the rack’s large padded Spine Shield protects your bicycles as well. The powder-coated rack installs in just minutes with a no-wobble bolt and an integrated locking loop offers a place to secure your bikes.

Doesn't look like this one swings to the side. I wouldn't be able to access my back door with this rack attached.

Hi, Kim! The Allen Sports Premier Spare Tire 4 bike rack does not swing to one side but rather tilts down so the rear of the vehicle is still accessible while bikes are loaded. Thanks for asking!
