Thule’s Vertex Swing bike rack is designed to swing away from the rear of the vehicle to allow the trunk door to be accessed while bikes are loaded. The Hold Fast Cradles™ cushion the bikes to prevent frame and surface scratches or damage. Bike-to-bike and bike-to-vehicle contact are prevented by the anti-sway cages. The integrated cable lock keeps bikes safe and secure while loaded. The rack’s arms can be easily lowered for compact storage.
- Carries 1 to 4 bikes weighing up to 35 lbs. each (140 lbs. total)
- Compatible with any vehicle equipped with a 2” receiver hitch

Nice, sturdy rack but I own 4 different (brand/style/size) bikes and NOT ONE of them fit on this rack. And then I had to pay shipping (over $50) to return the item even though it wasn't used.

How much for the receiver lock (at hitch) and cable lock for bikes on rack? Can UHaul provide chain and padlock instead?
UHaul's hitch Program Manager writes: ... Currently U-Haul doesn't list the Thule STL2 Snug-Tite receiver lock or the Thule 538XT cable lock. U-Haul locations do carry a variety of chains and locks, please use our "find a U-Haul location" option and visit or contact your local U-Haul Center
