Needed to ship a picture to Tulsa OKLAHOMA this worked great. The only problem I had that the instructions were blurry and hard to read.

After shipping several art pieces that showed up with broken glass I decided to spend the money on this Picture Shipper. It is amazing and I don’t believe I will have any more broken pieces but it is a little pricey at $59.99 and the box is rather large so shipping is also more expensive. I wish they made this item in different sizes to accommodate smaller pieces, but now that I have seen it and used it I will see if I can construct my own in a smaller size. I would recommend it to anyone shipping art though.

For the price these are great picture shippers for valuable artwork. Downside, they are often missing the holes and you need to make them yourself and the exterior box you put them in sometimes comes apart while assembling it.(easily fixed with tape). It is a process so give yourself some time to get them put together, Otherwise I think they are great.

Purchased this for my prized art piece and it was fully worth it. I had some trouble where the holes weren't actually punched through the cardboard and foam, but I was able to punch holes in it. Other thing they could improve on is pre-printing "Do Not Lay Flat" on the external box. But even with these flaws would buy again.

I will be shipping from Wisconsin to Texas an art piece via UPS. My art piece dimensions: 33" W, 41" L, 2" D. Will your mirror and picture box fit this piece?

–Savannah 7/31/2019 1:46:19 PM

I have framed piece of art that is 22.5 x 25.5 inches. Is there a way to use the picture shipper for this size or will the box be too big? I could use the four-piece box but I want the extra padding and protection.

–Andrew Martin 3/25/2019 9:35:41 PM

Hello, Andrew! Yes, you can use our picture shipper with the piece of art that you described. The shipper includes foam pieces that can be affixed around the picture to hold it in place, so it doesn't matter how small the piece of art is. I hope that is helpful!

–Savannah 3/26/2019 9:45:09 AM

Do you have smaller Picture Shippers? Most of my paintings measure 16" x 16". If so, what would be the cost?

–Janet 1/5/2019 12:41:47 PM

Hi, Janet! This is the only picture shipper we offer. You could use our Four Piece Mirror & Picture Box and use 2 pieces for each painting. you could also place the paintings together in a 16” x 16” x 12” Box. Make sure in either scenario that you wrap the paintings in something like Enviro-Bubble and fill any extra space in the box with something like Packing Paper. I hope that is helpful!

–Savannah 1/7/2019 10:12:54 AM

Can I use 2 picture box kits to hold a 60” x 44” framed picture

–Prudence A. Geisel 6/18/2018 4:10:15 PM

Hello, Prudence! Picture shippers are not designed to be used together. However, two of our Large Mirror & Picture Boxes can be telescoped together to reach a size of 60" x 48" x 4-5/16" (with 4" of the boxes overlapping). Since the large picture boxes do not come with any sort of protective material, here are some suggestions:

I hope that is helpful!

–Savannah 7/16/2018 9:48:18 AM

Would this be suitable for movement on commercial aircraft?

–D. Mey 12/20/2015 3:21:23 PM

Baggage requirements differ from airline to airline so your best bet will be to ask the company which you are flying with whether or not that box will be suitable for movement on a commercial aircraft.

–Joseph 12/22/2015 10:34:31 AM

How much does this box kit weigh?

–Carol Adams 2/14/2015 7:07:32 AM

5.25 pounds. Thank you.

–Ronald 2/16/2015 11:06:48 AM

I need to move a. 60" x 100" mirror. Do you have a product to keep the mirror from breaking en route? A box or shipping pads?

–Mrs. Ames 7/5/2014 7:52:20 PM

Our box manager writes: "Unfortunately we do not carry a box that will accommodate a mirror that large. We have a Grand Wardrobe box that measures 45.25" W x 70" L lying flat. Perhaps you can protect the mirror with furniture pads and surround it with multiple wardrobe boxes and wrap with stretch wrap. "

–Ronald 7/11/2014 11:21:07 AM

can this accommodate a picture frame that is 4" deep for self moving? Your other picture boxes look like they only handle up to 3 1/2" deep.

–Nick 5/24/2014 11:02:44 AM

Our buyer writes: "Yes you can fit a 4” deep frame into our 35X45” size Picture Shipper."

–Ronald 5/27/2014 2:19:10 PM

How does the inner and outer box go together.

–Dennis Shanahan 3/10/2014 5:48:46 AM

There is no inner and outer box. The two foam pads secure together using a tie system that holds the product in place. The pads, once secure, slide into the box.

–Stephen 3/13/2014 9:40:17 AM
