The ball mount ordered is really heavy duty and just what was needed to tow a rented U-Haul trailer to Louisville, Kentucky behind a 2011 Chevy Impala. Had we known that we could have gotten the receiver from U-Haul as well we would have ordered it too.

I have a uhaul brand hitch installed by uhaul on my 2009 hhr the top of the reciever is 11 inches off the ground do I need like a 3 inch rise to tow a 5 x 9 trailer

–Alvin Ruefenacht 5/28/2015 7:38:20 PM

The U-Haul trailer sits level when the top of the ball coupler is approximately 17" off the ground.

Using the U-Haul 36061B ball mount and 4924 hitch ball, will have your vehicle towing a U-Haul trailer fairly level with the top of the ball coupler at about 16-17" off the ground.
