This level check by Truma uses a reliable ultrasound to detect the current level of an LP tank. It’s perfect to use while camping, barbecuing, heating outdoors, and more. Just hold the device in a horizontal position against the tank and the LED light will indicate whether there is LP gas in the tank at that point.
For use with steel and aluminum LP gas cylinders (Diameter of 7.9” to 13.8” or 200 to 350 mm)

The TRUMA Level Check uses ultrasound to decipher whether or not there is propane in a tank.
All you have to do is place the TRUMA Level Check on the side of your propane tank in a horizontal position, then run it up and down the side of the tank until you get a reading. The point where you get the reading is the point your tank is filled with propane, letting you know whether or not it's time to fill up!
Does this item "Part number: TRUMA" work on all standard 5 Gal. BBQ type LP tanks?
