"In-Series - The recommended cooler connection is the "in-series" installation. This method utilizes the existing cooling system and provides maximum cooling by returning the coolest oil directly to the transmission. Replacement - This method bypasses the existing cooling system and should only be used if the existing cooling system is damaged. This application requires an oil cooler that is one or two sizes larger."
Is this rated for and will it fit on 2010 Dodge Caliber?
"The 13236 transmission cooler is not recommended for the Dodge Caliber equipped with the Continuously Variable Transmission."
