  • Fits any vehicle with a 12-Volt negative ground system.
  • Powers the trailers stop, turn and tail/running lights directly from the tow vehicles battery.

Received a hard wire module. Was looking for a plug in module. & received it well after the 2 days allowed to return it. I purchased a unit locally from U Haul & I guess I will eat the original unit. Not sure if I misread the site or not..

Put this on my 2017 Dodge Caravan. Hooked up all wires as instructed, starting with the left tail light. When finished the brake lights work when right turn signal is on but when left turn signal is on the brake lights don't work.

when i hooked it up, one of the three green lights stays on constantly. What could be the problem or is this normal?

Is it an easy fit part? I bought one with part number of 14493. What is the difference between 14493 and 14494? Is it because 14493 I have to cut the wire, and 14494 has an adaptor, I don't need to cut the wire?

The 14494 is nearly identical to your 14493, they both are universal splice option powered converters with an led and 4-flat outlet. The 14494 is designed to fit more vehicles than the 14493.
