There are many different reasons a person could need a copy of their rental receipt for, but sometimes it isn’t obvious what the easiest way to go about getting it is. Luckily, here at U-Haul, we make this process very easy, and there are a couple of different ways you can go about it on uhaul.com. The first is completely free; however, the second one does require a non-refundable research fee of $10, so we always recommend you try method one first. Let’s take a look at how you can begin the process.
Method 1: Through Uhaul.com/Orders
Step 1: Go to Uhaul.com/Orders and enter your contract number and last name in the text fields on the right side of the page. Then click on “Look up Contract/Order”.
Step 2: When you arrive at the Order Details page you will be able to view all the information pertinent to your rental. Simply click on “View printable confirmation/receipt” and you will be taken to a printable version of your receipt. One thing to keep in mind for future reservations and rentals; if you come to the Order Details page during a rental or before you pick it up you will be able to make alterations such as changing your pickup location or time.
Step 3: On the next page you will find a copy of your rental receipt. Click “Print this page” and your receipt will begin printing as long as you have access to a functional printer that is connected to a power source.
Method 2: Request to Have it Emailed or Mailed to You
Follow this link and enter all necessary information the page asks for. Be sure to specify Email or Standard Mail using the drop-down list that says “How would you like to receive the copy of your contract?” Once you have finished, click “Submit” and U-Haul will be notified to begin working on your request. Once again, please keep in mind that this method does require a research fee of $10 which is non-refundable.
