Dress Light\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>When planning your <a title=\"attire for summer moving\" href=\"https:\/\/movinginsider.com\/2012\/09\/27\/what-to-wear-on-moving-day\/?utm_campaign=UhaulSM&amp;utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=MovingInsider\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">attire for summer move <\/a>, two important things to keep in mind are,<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dress light. Wear loose-fitting clothing, light colored t-shirts, shorts, tank tops, or anything that feels comfortable and keeps you cool.<\/li>\n<li>Choose ventilated footwear. It is not recommended to wear steel toe boots in the blazing heat, but flip flops or any open-toed shoes are also not recommended. Wear comfortable, close-toed shoes that allow for some airflow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>2. Wear protective gear<\/b><\/p>\n<p>To keep you as cool from the scorching sun rays\u00a0as possible, wearing protective items such as shades,\u00a0bandannas, caps, visors,\u00a0and\u00a0sun block\u00a0will\u00a0make a major difference in keeping you cool.<\/p>\n<p><b>3. After many trips back and forth to your moving truck, stopping for a few drinks of water is important to keep your body hydrated and in motion. Remember to have water dispensers, water jugs, water bottles and extra cups on hand for the moving team. If you are doing a local move and making multiple trips back\/forth, it\u2019s always good to have water stations at both homes. If doing a cross country move, remember to pick up a few of these items before you go, and store in a cool place.<\/p>\n<p><b>4. Take breaks<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Whether you have a team of 3 or a team of 6, taking a few breaks in between will help everyone. As much as we want to get it done quickly, taking turns for breaks is a great way to get everyone to cool off.
