Keep these three specific regulations in mind and ask yourself these questions when choosing a storage unit for your drug samples:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/movinginsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Security.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/movinginsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Security.jpg\" alt=\"Security for your Storage Unit\" width=\"211\" height=\"233\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Security<\/strong> &#8211; To provide \u201csuitable protection against theft and diversion.\u201d [21 CFR 205.50(b)]<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">Is this storage facility safe?\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em\">When you&#8217;re on the storage hunt for your prescription samples, does the facility in question offer any type of security? This can be an on-site security guard, alarm system, key-codes or a 24-hour surveillance system. You&#8217;ll want a facility that can offer assurance that your samples are protected against theft, diversion and counterfeiting.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>2. Climate Control<\/strong> &#8211; To \u201cstore and handle all drug samples under conditions that will maintain their stability, integrity, and effectiveness, and ensure that the drugs are free of contamination, deterioration, and adulteration.\u201d [21 CFR 203.32 &amp; 205.50(c)]\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/movinginsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Climate-Controlled.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/movinginsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Climate-Controlled.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/movinginsider.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/03\/Climate-Controlled.jpg\" alt=\"Climate Controlled Storage\" width=\"330\" height=\"221\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Will your samples maintain their stability?\u00a0<\/strong>Prescription drug samples are temperature- sensitive! For optimum compliance, your samples will need cooling in the summer and heating in the winter.
