Yet another list to add to your endless stack of lists, but at least this one is fun! With all your to\u2011do lists and moving day checklists,<\/a> make sure to include a bucket list of things you want to do before you move. Enjoy a meal at all your favorite local restaurants, shop at your favorite boutiques and soak up all the attractions you can in your current city.<\/p>\n

Document your move <\/strong><\/h4>\n

One of my favorite things about moving are all the memories! You are leaving a place you once called home to start your life in a new city! Take pictures of your old place and document your moving process. Take fun pictures of your friends helping you move and make a scrapbook of your old home to enjoy in your new one! You can even share your moving photos on #uhaulfamous<\/a> where your picture could end up on a moving truck!<\/p>\n

\"Things<\/a>Have a garage sale<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Out with the old and in with the new. As you start packing, set aside items you have outgrown or no longer want to bring to your new city. Before a move is the best time to sort through old clothes, books and other items that have accumulated throughout the years. Why not let others enjoy them, lighten your load and hopefully make a little cash? You are starting a new adventure, and what better way to start than with a going-away party? Invite friends and family over for one final barbecue before your big move. A party is also a great way to clean out your fridge before you move!<\/p>\n
