Indy is home to\u00a0the Colts (NFL), Pacers (NBA), and Indians (MLB). An\u00a0Indianapolitan will surely let you know who to\u00a0root for. Indianapolis is the 14th largest city in the U.S.<\/p>\n<h3>Neighborhoods<\/h3>\n<p>Indy has several great historic neighborhoods that have plenty to offer. If a cultural scene is what you are looking for check out\u00a0Massachusetts Avenue,\u00a0Carmel, Wholesale District, or\u00a0Broad Ripple Village. If you historical neighborhoods are your cup of tea check out:\u00a0Chatham Arch,\u00a0Fletcher Place, and Lockerbie Square Historic District. Maybe you are moving to Indy for the business districts; check the Downtown area or Woodruff Place.<\/p>\n<h3>Things to do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Take a stroll along the Canal which features European style bridges, gondolas, Indiana State Museum and the NCAA Hall of Fame.<\/li>\n<li>Check out the historic City Market for wine, cheese, beer, and retail shop vendors.<\/li>\n<li>Take a ride down the Cultural Trail which is a walking or bike path that connects the city&#8217;s five downtown Cultural Districts<\/li>\n<li>Obviously a race is in order, but take in a Colt&#8217;s game at\u00a0Lucas Oil Stadium or check out fireworks night at\u00a0Victory Field after an Indian&#8217;s game.<\/li>\n<li>Also the\u00a0art districts in Indy offer plenty to see and\u00a0explore<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Getting around<\/h3>\n<p>Indianapolis has several interstates and highways that make it easy to drive your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uhaul.com\/Truck-Rentals\/?utm_campaign=uhaulsm&amp;utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=trucks&amp;utm_content=20150920-movingtoindianapolis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">moving truck<\/a>\u00a0with the I-465 looping around the city and county. Indy has a good public transit system of buses, light rail and and commuter rails. Amtrak also has a station in Indy to get you to Chicago,\u00a0Washington DC, Philadelphia, or NYC.<\/p>\n<h3>Weather<\/h3>\n<p>Indianapolis offers you all <a href=\"https:\/\/movinginsider.com\/2014\/09\/23\/top-cities-with-all-four-distinct-seasons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">four seasons<\/a>! Be prepared for the warm Summers, fluctuating temps in Spring and Fall, and snow in the Winter.
