The City of Henderson<\/a> has a small city feel with all the luxuries and amenities of a big city. With some colleges and universities, state-of-the-art health care facilities, and grand local neighborhoods and casinos, this city would make a perfect home!<\/p>\n

Did you Know that this city in\u00a0Nevada was the main supplier of magnesium in the United States during World War II. A Magnesium plant was built there and the “miracle metal” was used for airplane engines and incendiary munitions.<\/em><\/p>\n

The current sale tax is 8.1%, which excludes services, groceries and prescription drugs.<\/p>\n

It is easy to access the City of Henderson from anywhere in the world! The city borders the McCarran International Airport and features the first class Henderson Executive Airport. It\u00a0is\u00a0also ideally situated along major passageways connecting California, Arizona, and Utah. If you do not have a vehicle, public transportation is an option. The Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTCSNV<\/a>) has 7 bus routes serving the community. You can also<\/p>\n
