Packing Tips for Moving to College by Airplane<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Before you start packing, create a list of what you plan on bringing. We suggest dividing your things into three categories: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Ship<\/strong>– These are items that you don\u2019t need this summer but can be packed and shipped to campus for move-in day. Pack for the airplane<\/strong>– This should include everything else that you\u2019re not shipping or buying once you get there, such as clothing, toiletries, personal items, etc. Try to make this your smallest category to avoid paying for weight overages and extra bags at the airport.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
