I don&#8217;t know about you, but I think there is a lot of fun to be had when it&#8217;s cold out!<\/p>\n<h2>What to wear<\/h2>\n<p>I mentioned in \u201c<a title=\"Moving in the Winter: Part 1, Safety\" href=\"https:\/\/movinginsider.com\/2012\/10\/23\/moving-in-the-winter-part-1-safety\/\">Part 1<\/a>\u201d about dressing in layers, anti-slip footwear, and gloves. That was more for safety. I&#8217;m hunting wabbits!\u201d<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ski mask.<\/strong> Not only will it keep your face warm, it has the bonus of scaring your future neighbors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Toe socks.<\/strong> According to the nursery rhyme, each little piggy did their own thing. So, why should they be crammed together in the same toe area of the sock? Give each little piggy a place of their own with this awesome item of footwear.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Legwarmers.<\/strong> The eighties are back with a vengeance. Though you may not realize how much you are sweating during a winter move, as opposed to summer, you still need to drink lots of fluids. Put out insulated cups and a ladle and your moving helpers will be refreshed and ready to head back out into the cold in no time.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hot chocolate.<\/strong> The easiest way to provide your helpers with hot chocolate is to buy individual packets of hot cocoa and have a carafe of hot water available. But, if you&#8217;re feeling a little more creative, try <a title=\"Hot Chocolate on a Stick\" href=\"http:\/\/www.30poundsofapples.com\/2011\/12\/hot-chocolate-sticks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this recipe<\/a> using chocolate chunks on a stick. Just stir into hot milk and you have a rich and delicious cup of hot cocoa.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coffee carafe.<\/strong> Got a morning move? Brew coffee and put it in a carafe. Set out some creamers, packets of hot cocoa, flavor syrups and you have your own mini-coffee shop.
