\n\"COLLEGE<\/a>Congratulations on being accepted into the University of Georgia. While the costumed mascot at your school is Hairy Dawg, the more traditional English Bulldog named  “Uga” also makes an appearance at each home and away game. The current mascot is Uga IX. He is the ninth bulldog mascot since the original 1956 Uga. The colors are red and black, and the  University of Georgia is known for is known for its beautiful campus and strong presence of Greek life.<\/p>\n

Moving<\/a> to college can be a stressful time, but there’s no need to fret. If you are preparing to move into the dorms (or even a nearby apartment) we\u2019re going to share some special tips that will make your life easier.<\/p>\n

First off, you should know that the dorms begin to open on August 17 and move-in dates extend through August 23rd. Different groups will have different dates, so check to find your specific date to move-in. The first  day of classes are August 26th.<\/p>\n
