Jamie T | ReservationSince U-Haul purchase led storage facility, the gate at the front has been off and on broke. With the gate being left wide open at all times the secure part of the business title doesn’t make much sense. Also. The facility does not have moving carts or dollies like other facilities in the area. Again, since U-Haul took over, those were taken away. The price of the u it is almost $30 more for a foot less in size as completion in the area. Again it has been a steady increase rental charge since they took over.

The price increased by 50%, I no longer received my military discount, they charged me for insurance even after I sent them proof that I already had insurance coverage. No one ever responded to questions or concerns that I had. I have told everyone that I know to never rent from you, you are awful business people.
KAREN F | Overall ExperienceHello, Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Micheal Hyatt and I am currently renting Unit #50. I have called numerous times to let you know of some needed repairs. The gate is broken and has been since right after I signed the contract. The door to the climate controlled building will not stay closed because it’s broken. This allows rain to enter the building during heavy rain. Moisture easily enters through any unclosed door. These conditions violate the environmental parameters described in the contract for a climate controlled unit. The internal building temperature was outside of the parameters last week and our coldest months are ahead. I have left numerous messages to the call center to inform you of the situation. If you need the dates, times and name of the persons I have spoken with at the call center please let me know. I can provide them to you. I am attaching photos for a reference to the needed repairs. I’m looking forward to seeing resolution on these repairs. It is my expectation they will be resolved. Please call me at 205-563-3020 if you have any question or concerns. Bernie B | ReservationI was able to move into my unit yesterday and I am pleased with the unit with one exception. I observed the AC is set at 74 however the temp reading was 80 when I was moving into the unit. This is supposed to be climate controlled so please have the AC repaired. Thank you.
VINCENT H | ReservationWhen we spoke with someone they were nice friendly. Enjoyed having storage close to JSU Campus. During the years we rented there was an owner change 1 or 2 times. The first time we had trouble contacting them. Now the customer service has been excellent. Just make sure you call during there daytime hours. Thank you JSS!!
