We had a great experience with Northwood Self Storage from start to finish. The facility was exceptionally clean, felt very safe, and the entire process was simple and stress-free. Katie and Kali were incredibly responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. They even checked in after we moved in to make sure everything had gone smoothly, which was such a thoughtful touch. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them!

Jade F | Overall ExperienceSecurity is very low with just a barrier instead of a gate. Also the security fence was open to allow for snow removal. Northwood is not a high crime area so this is not much of an issue but it could be.

On move in day I never received the promised text with code and unit number, I thought “maybe I have to set up my online payment account” so I did, my account tells me that I need to pay a little over $8 but when I try to pay it doesn’t let me. So I call the 24 Uhaul number and they can’t find any of my information and also can’t get ahold of the storage facility because they are closed on Sundays (if you want to be closed on Sundays, don’t make it an available move in date). So now it’s the 30th (move in date is the 29th) and I still haven’t received any information regarding my storage unit and I’m at risk of having to pay my current storage unit (that I do not trust and am trying to get away from) another month. So far, in my experience, this company is extremely unreliable and I’m starting to feel that I might have made a bad decision in choosing this facility.
