Very solid! The storage unit itself was great, no issues there as far as the setup process to get going and move in and access was a breeze. The only things I wish were different are 1. The processing fees charged, and 2. Move outs. I rented through U-Haul's website directly (maybe this has changed since I moved in so take that in mind), I was surprised to see a $3.00 charge for processing fees. I paid with a credit card so maybe its different for people who hook up bank accounts or debit cards instead, but I didn't see a disclosure on the U-Haul website for it. I think its cleaner to just include it in the rent price itself if you're renting from the website to make the pricing clearer so I know about fees up front through U-Haul rather than finding out later. Other stuff like admin fees and all of that, I knew about in advance because U-Haul's website showed this clearly, so this processing fee that has to be paid every month no matter what seemed a bit confusing and caught me off guard. The move out process itself on the day we did it was great. We cleaned out our unit, talked to the staff and get our final move out receipt, clean and easy. But it wasn't that easy to get information on how to move out, and the timing of when we had to vacate in order to avoid being charged a full month of rent significantly impacted our timelines and plans for moving to accommodate this. I found the move out procedure and timing somewhat confusing to understand. I think adding text to the lease agreement for the unit detailing this a bit more so its easier to understand would be a good improvement. Good overall and friendly staff here! Access was great. Just a few small things I would change if I rent here again.
