I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! I almost rented a storage unit from this location, but the response was unprofessional and raised concerns. So I cancelled my request, and even before I received the agreement to sign, they had already billed my credit card. I did not authorize any transactions nor sign an agreement with them. They’ve now blocked my number and will not respond to me, forcing me to claim unauthorized transaction through Visa. After reading all the similar negative reviews about this business, I will be contacting Better Business Bureau as well.

Brandie K | Overall ExperienceA storage unit was reserved in error and was charged $20.00 tried calling Lakeland and U haul and got nothing but a run around. Neither of them could cancel this reservation or return my money. Call the storage unit and they hang up on you. Over 6 calls to u haul and rep at storage facility does not want to help to resolve the issue.

Had asked for a couple of extra days and was told I was lying when I said I was able to get in a few days early. Still haven't rescued my deposit from them.

I don’t believe that any written or verbal correspondence received to indicate there was a mandatory move-in date of October 10th. We can look for availability elsewhere. We were prepared to start the paying the monthly rental on October 10 to ensure we had access for the move.

I feel sorry that he had to work for an idiot. Sylvan lake are seeing what this guys is like. Lots of people will never deal with him again. Police have been told about him by many many people. I gave 2 month’s notice after being there for almost 2 years. Then he dble dipped on my cc. Mater card stopped this as its fraudulent. This Fool tried the wrong girl 🤣🤣
cassandra b | Overall ExperienceDon’t know if you will post this however. When I was reserving my uhaul I saw this website and thought I may use it. The webpage states that money is due on arrival. Suffice to say a rep started calling me before the date wanting me to pay in advance.(his number doesn’t match site numbers) I held off till the day before I thought I needed it. And again they wanted 50 dollars to reserve and also to pay for the first month. The following day before I was to arrive my circumstances changed and I called to break the reservation. The person told me they will refund my 50 dollar reservation And send me a credit to use at a future date. I would caution anyone who would want to deal with this business. Deceptive practises are being used. It should have been the loss of the 50 and a refund of the 190. One last thing the representative said he was to forward on this credit 2 hours ago which he still hasn’t sent this so called credit. I will let anyone that asks me about my experience. I would not recommend this business ever.
Dan S | ReservationI had my boat and trailer in this facility for several years and felt comfortable having it there until this year. I like to check it a few times throughout the year but was not able to get near it in the winter and once got stuck and had to call a tow truck at a cost of $70.00. I moved to another lot close by for now but would recommend this facility to others. I had a small issue with an unauthorized payment taken out after the boat was removed but that was quickly resolved to my satisfaction.
