At this point I probably would not recommend or us u-haul again, based on the simple fact the I lost $35-$40 dollars because I returned the truck with more gas than started. And there was no way of know how much gas I would use. This is a no win situation for the customer, bring it back with less gas and yo uget charge for the missing gallions, bring back with more gas and the customer gets nothing back. U-haul should fill the truck and ask that the truck be returned full or charge to fill it up. This way, the customer only pays for the gas they use. The way you are doing it the customer will pay more not matter how it comes back, either with more gas that they paid for or you will charge them.
