The worker were not knowledgeable about how hold on accounts. I am out because they could not tell me there policy correct. When questioned about it they trabsfered me with out even listening to my problem. They didnt care.

I forgot HER name but she was very good - by the time I had the trailer parked, she had the paperwork complete so was a fast in drop and go. Is the third time I have used this location and the people are very quick, knowledgeable, and friendly . Thanks much . Must have a good training program :-)

Great customer care, but the truck was in pretty bad shape. Check engine light was on, a lot of pieces were broken (interior light, sun visor, Rear latch) and it smelled like smoke pretty bad.

The employees were very polite and worked quickly. We were disappointed that we were downgraded to a 14 foot truck hours after we reserved our 17 foot truck because they overbooked. The dolly and blankets attached in the truck were in the way and we did not need or ask for them. I was told I had it for 24 hours but it didn't get changed in the computer. We were not penalized for bringing it late.

No. The seal on the bag of furniture pads was already missing when I opened the rear of the truck. I did not use a single one of them and I should not have been charged. Also, the furniture pads and the dolly take up valuable real estate in the back of the truck. I don't want them even in there taking up the space that I need to move belongings. It's just stupid.

I waited in line for half an hour past my scheduled pick-up time, and then I was told the truck I was picking up had just been returned and still had to be cleaned. It had not been swept out when I got it. I was told to be sure to fill up the tank all the way, but I was not told until later that the trucks still take several more gallons of gas after they read as "full". The price was adjusted due to this information not being provided up-front. However, the worker was pretty rude about it, stating they usually "argue it" and don't adjust the price but she "wasn't feeling it" today. She stated it is not their problem that they give misleading information to customers about filling up the tanks. I was given documentation from UHaul stating the tank was full when it was given to me. This turned out not to be the case. So yes, that IS your problem. I used this same location a couple years ago, and the service has gone way downhill since then. I won't be using this location again. You may want to consider the appearance and professionalism of your workers as well. I was in the middle of moving and I was still dressed in a way that was more appropriate for work than one of your workers, who looked like she had just fallen out of bed.

Unfortunately the Call Center booking the rental did not set it up right... FORTUNATELY - Local office here on Plainfield corrected it the night before (could have been a big problem) Well diverted and corrected. Good Team - Always use them!

Picked it up, dropped it off, easy peasy. A sign saying 'If nobody is in the office, drop keys at front.' Only took a couple minutes to figure out nobody was coming to inspect as the sign said but could have taken a couple minutes less with another sign :)

I rated the location as below average, because I had online requested the pick up location to be the Centerpointe Mall U Haul in Grand Rapids. Plainfield was not even close to where I was going to be. They said they would give us extra miles, but they did not. However, my bigger complaint is the charges. I set everything up online and was given a price of $156.00 which included the $5.00 enviro. fee. However upon picking up the truck..they charged us again for the $5.00 enviro. fee...we paid $10.00 total enviro. fee. Deceitful advertising! And the customer service person who I talked with was not helpful. They wanted us to bring our paperwork back to Plainfield, to prove what we had done online. That is not possible..since we moved to Ann Arbor. The truck was new, which was nice, but the rest of the experience was not a pleasant one. The online reservation system seems like a bait and switch situation. Once you print your confirmation information, it only shows the total. But before you print it, it shows the breakdown of the charge for the truck (which was $151.00) and the charge for the enviro. fee (which was $5.00) for a total of $156.00. U haul claims that is the total for the truck only and therefore had to add another $5.00 enviro. fee. And once you print your confirmation, you cannot go back and see the previous page. I will never use their online reservation system again and I will also think long and hard about using U haul again.

Dropped the trailer off on time...guy says is an email receipt OK? I said yes and left. Then I got charged an additional day since he didn't check it back in...manager righted the wrong when I calmly complained.

There seemed to be a lot of confusion over the time of the reservation. We planned on picking up the truck at 9 on Saturday, but were told the truck wouldn't be available until 10:30. We were very rushed because of this delay and were not able to move everything we needed to move.

the people at the store were great. your call center is less than acceptable. I called on Friday to cancel a rental and the girl that answered the phone got all sorts of stupid with me and hung up. I had made arrangements with the people at the plainfield store that if I needed the truck after 6pm on Saturday that I would call. I called their number but got the call center. They took my information but didn't tell the people at the Plainfield store. So I got a call on Sunday wondering where the truck was as they never got the information from the call center. It doesn't do any good to have a call center if they are not going to relay the information. I work for UPS and we rent a lot of trucks from you and I know a lot of the people that work at your stores. They are all very good people and they do a great job. But your call center is not an asset to your business. You need to make some changes there. After being hung up on on Friday night anyone else would of used a different rental company, but I knew that the people in your store would take care of me. and it is only because of my past experience with your people that I did business with you this weekend.
