The Cargo Van I rented ran well and I had no mechanical issues with it. The folks at the rental location we helpful and pleasant. The problem was that the vehicle had a bad odor when I rented it and there were gnats in the vehicle that I couldn't get out of it four the five days I had it.

A customer service manager was supposed to call me regarding our pick up location being wrong and still have not. I am very upset at the fact I checked in online, went to the location I was checked in at and was told my truck was 13 miles away at a different location.

The trucks can use a little vacuuming. The Absolute Small Engine was closed when I returned the truck. I dropped the key off into the box at the front door. Park the truck on the lot and lock it.

My truck had a dolly and pads which were sealed but could be used for a charge - they were in the way and took up valuable space. I understand the business principle but don't think they should be on the truck if the customer doesn't want them.

I had never rented a trailer before and when I got there and saw the trailer I rented on line I found that the inside of the trailer was not tall enough to do what I needed to do. Luckily for me they had a bigger trailer for me to rent. Seeing,/touching is probably the better way to go before just renting on line. Girls that work there were very helpful in getting me what I needed and they helped me find a part at a local auto parts store for my hitch which was to big for all their hitch receivers. Good experience over all!

I recommend that you first Fire the staff or the Manager of this location. Customer service was the worst, I enjoy the company, but the staff of this location are very rude and disrespectful for both renting a vehicle and renting storage.

Need a better system for payment. There should be a deposit for a hold fee until the truck is returned then you can give the correct amount owed instead of asking customers for estimated miles, charging them, then charging them again for miles over. It seemed like I was double charged!!!!

You should really change the gas/refill policy. I picked up the truck and it only had a 1/4 of a tank. I had to guess how much I need to put in to drive 50 miles. When I brought the truck back in the next day, there was 1/2 tank left. The guy said U-HAUL doesn't give discounts for gas being over. That put me out probably 25-30 dollars. The truck should be full when the customer picks it up so there's no discrepancies. But I am sure that U-HAUL figured this out already. Thank you

Stood in line for 20mins along with about 5 other customer to return the truck and found out the employee was sitting outside smoking. No apologies or anything from the employee. Poor customer service.

I will never use U-Haul again, especially in the Columbus area. I reserved a 20 ft. U-Haul approx. 10 days prior to my move at the Georgesville OH location for the date of June 28th 2014. I called the day before to confirm my truck would be ready between 8:30am -9am. I called the morning of the move June28th to let them know I would be on my way to pick up truck. I was told at that time that it would be 9:30 before the truck would arrive. So before I left I called one last time to be sure the truck had arrived and I was told by employee, Destiny, that there would not be a truck available after all because the people that was suppose to return the truck decided to keep it another day. She stated she would call around to other close locations. She never bothered to return a call to me to let me know what the situation was. I stated that I had 5 people sitting and waiting to load my truck and that even if I had to use 2 smaller trucks, that would be fine.Destiny stated she was sorry, but there were no trucks of any size available in the area. I stated that was unacceptable and I had reserved a truck with my credit card and something needed to be done and asked to speak to the supervisor. As I was talking to Destiny, she hung the phone up on me.When I called back, i again asked for the supervisor # and she gave me the district manager's phone #. I called that # and got a message that the district manager was on vacation. I called back to the Georgesville office and told Destiny I did not appreciate being hung up on and she responded by saying she thought I was done talking. She finally found a 20ft. truck that was on Hamilton Rd., which was more than 30 miles away from my house. I stated that someone needed to deliver that truck to Georgesville location and I was told that was not possible. Destiny stated that I was responsible for picking up the truck. By the time I picked up the truck and returned to my house it was approx. 11:45am. While picking up the truck I stated I shoud be compensated for my lost time, holding up my movers and using my gas money to go that far to pick up the truck. I was told by the manager there that there was nothing they could do but give me extra mileage, which I had been given that to begin with. When I was finished using the truck and returned to the Columbia St. location in Springfield, I told the employees there everything that happened and they couldn't believe that I was treated so rudely and the employees at Georgesville location didn't go out of their way any more than they did to try and find me trucks available at closer locations in Columbus. So, for the bad customer service and the big delay in my move, the manager in Springfield gave me a partial refund. It's weird how one manager told me that there was nothing that could be done to reimburse me and then I go to Springfield and they went out of their way to make things right for my major inconvenience. So I thank the employees at the Columbia St. location

Truck wiper blades needed to be changed. Truck lights on both low and high beams need to be adjusted. Poor visibility in night driving. Otherwise truck ran great.
